In this playthrough though Ian broke up with Lena for Cindy. I wasn't going for the Trinity path. Is it still working as intended?

edit: I just loaded an older save of the playthrough to not let Holly sleep with Ivy and yeah. I think it's working as intended.

edit: Interesting thing though. Holly still comes to seduce Ian at night if the conditions are met. Even when Lena decides that she want's to enter a dedicated relationship with Holly. Maybe it could be that her slut variable (Lena dominant) overrides that . Or Lena and Holly never got to have the talk... edit: hmm does this mean we can intentionally sabotage Lena's relationship with Holly? Sorry Lena but it seems you are getting added to the cuck list

Has anyone been playing this on ubuntu? The 12.3 updates are such that I get "permission denied" when trying to run the executable. This is after trying "chmod u+x" on it. I did not have this problem with 12.2. Does anyone have a fix? Thank you.

Yeah, i got the exact same issue on Mint (based on Ubuntu). Dualbooting into windows and unzipping the same zip-file there fixed the issue. That unzipped game ran perfectly on both windows and linux, so I assume the problem is zip-related somehow and that the permissions warning is incorrect, but I dont have a fix beyond that (except dual booting if thats an option for you)

Yeah, the 'OurRedString.sh' in the root folder is basically just a launcher of sorts. The true executable for linux is always located in the 'lib/py3-linux-x86_64' (Python3.x) or the 'lib/linux-x86_64' (Python2.x) folder, no matter which renpy game you load up.

The check also filters out the case where Ivy got her hands on Holly (either in Ch.8 or in Ch.11 in the showers):

There's some small developments which make it a possibility (either Axel or Ivy effectively dominating Lena while we know these characters aren't into monogamy, Ivy potentially pressuring Lena into bringing Holly into a threesome when Lena and Holly has been "dating") but whether it becomes an actual thing is anyone's guess.

In my playthrough Holly has slept with Lena and Mark but she didn't get with Ian at the end, I assume because he shares the room with Emma. This is interesting actually.

Given that Ian is aware of their romance at the beach though, I would find it weird that he doesn't mention it when Holly jumps him. There were no dialogue regarding that I take it? I would assume Ian would at least utter his surprise realistically, even if he's perfectly willing to bang Holly.

I mean, obviously -- if Holly had slept with Ivy then you wouldn't have gotten the heart option for Lena in the first place. She simply fucked enough people to get the "slutty" flag and a taste for casual sex, so she jumped at opportunity to add Ian to her tally.

Yes, for Ian sex with Emma gets first priority; either if they're already sleeping in the same room, or in case of Lena/Ian breakup, if Ian has fucked Emma before then Emma wins the race to his bedroom. Probably elbows Holly out of the way.

Thanks for explanation/disclaimer. Goud speculation though! It's funny being there while ORS is developing. GGGB was my first VN, introduced me to this whole world, but it had already been complete. Since then I've watche hundreds of games develop, and yes many wishlists and requests go understandably unfulfilled, but this IS the one developer I feel I can be optimistic about finding the most potential scenarios and making the fullest use of their story.

This potential play option also underlines something else we can find out during the game and had quite a number of hints for. Wild Holly definitely planned her journey to sluttiness and had specific goals in mind.
It becomes clear that wild Holly acted on the belief, how mistaken she was on it depends on how we play Ian, that Ian prefers wild, slutty girls as GF. (and her development in this direction is also more probable if e.g. Ivy and Lena are slutty themselves)
Considering that even the normal and shy versions of Ian are impressed by Holly´s new confidence, style and playfulness, she was not totally wrong.
In some earlier posts I theorised on some possibilities how slut Holly develops further after ch.12. It seems my theory that if Holly becomes a couple with Ian now, she either bottles her slut side up for the bedroom or develops her wild side further in conjunction with what Ian likes/can abide with, is strenghtened by the option above.
Slutty Holly definitely had fun becoming how she is now and it is certain that parts of her newfound wildness are here to stay, but she had a specific goal in mind.

The punishment scene with Ian/Lena is the hottest scene to date. Need more dominant/possessive Ian.

I also couldn't stop laughing at the psychedelic trip, so meta. Love seeing cameos of GGGB, had to hook up with Jack cos deep down he's a sweetie + nostalgia. Loved hearing that Jess was engaged to Dave in my playthrough (they're canon cos I always had them tgt in GGGB, don't ruin my dream). Wish the characters had as much depth as the characters from GGGB though :/ none of them are loveable.

Is she engaged to Dave? As far as I understand "good Jessica" is engaged to Ash, I recently discovered this while replaying the game when Ian goes to talk to her at the mall she tells him that she is engaged to his girlfriend.
