I love this optimism tbh, I agree ORS game is already one of the best ever porn games. The only reason I care enough to post or gripe about it is because I love it, and its quality raises the bar so high that it's hard to maintain.

Play Good Girl Gone Wild (Eva Kiss' first game) if you haven't yet! The art is rougher and the characters are more stereotyped, but it'll feel very familiar and there is a shit ton of variation in how it can play out.

Regarding consequences, you can interrupt Axel on his second touch with no drawback. (well, other than -1 with Axel, but fuck that guy) It's the first one that Ian can get shit for. In fact, if you don't interrupt the second touch that lowers Cindy's relationship with Wade by 1 point; Axel being handsy clearly makes her think of new pastures.

There is also a difference between romancing and loving her and merely lusting after her. In the latter, she isn't obliged to Ian, so its quite reasonable that or if she seeks out Axel as well.

Her route isn't even that much about betrayal, even though it starts as an affair with the appeal of breaking a taboo. It isn't so much about gloating and humiliating Wade than disregarding him as unenthusiastic and not "worthy" to the ambitious, slightly spoiled Cindy, so someone like Axel or Ian will step up sooner or later. Wade isn't the focus in that plotline, he is very much baggage.

That's the mistake. If Ian doesn't put his foot down Cindy takes it as a sign she can do as she pleases, and she does as much. You'll need to take middle road, where Ian is respectful but draws boundaries for Cindy, if she wants the relationship to work.

Would you like to know the reason why? It's because Cindy is in fact playing with him. Cindy, rightfully, sees herself getting away with what she's doing to Wade and an Ian that unquestionably supports her. But Ian can see through that, either to Wade's benefit or his own, and that's the difference. In the later he calls her out and makes clear what the expectations he has for his relationship with her. In the former he's being played by her.
