Ian isn't a professional photographer though, so he can't box (keep away) Axel out easily.

Though it's likely they will have to actually fight at some point, since it's been teased so much. The story/character/emotional beats are going to be all over the place, depending on the route.

Not sure, but you might try the following:

* have Holly join Ivy's gym classes
* overall make sure Holly's change variable is kept low (no more than 3, preferably less)
* in Ch.7 Encourage Holly when Ivy brings up Mark
* when Holly is talking with Mark at Ivy's birthday party, interrupt them. With low change variable this should lower holly_guy variable to 0.5 and then automatically to 1, which is not enough for Holly to leave the party with Mark, but enough to keep this pairing open.
* with Holly out of the picture have Lena suck off Mark in the club toilet in Ch.10
* Mark will text Lena in Ch.11, accept his invitation to activate lena_mark_dating
* later in Ch.11 Holly and Lena will talk about Mark/Holly during Holly's phone call. Pick the option "You should do it", to set holly_guy to 2 which should be enough for sex to happen.

You are right. I don't usually play slutty Lena and Holly and the few times I did I went all in with Holly so I didn't know about that.

If you started a relationship with Holly you can't. I assume the same is the case for trinity.

Regarding this, about a week ago I encountered something that I'm not sure if it's a bug or it's intended but I just forgot to put it here till now:

Also if Lena and Ian are in a serious relationship and didn't already have a threesome with Louise, sex doesn't happen either, which makes sense. The part that I'm not sure if it's a bug is that if you have an open relationship since the beginning (ian_lena_open = True), sex doesn't happen. You need to have the relationship opened during the beach trip crisis.

Yeah, I mentally divide them into '3some open' and 'true open.' Because they are not treated the same. Kinda felt like EK had an idea, but got distracted, and then the plot pushed past what the original plan was.

Constant blatant texting, saving of sexts, no deleting or special apps, doing it inside the friend group. Ian and Cindy in the alley outside Blazer is the worst example, but Lena in Blazer is nearly as bad. They're all amateur cheaters (which is better than the master level cheaters), which fits the game, but oh so naive.

But from a dev perspective, you have the easiest ways of blowing up their spot for drama that you can find.

The lying to Perry (over Cindy) was an interesting system, especially with the feint of low points being worse than high points, that was pretty ingenious on EKs part.

The thing is that even if you have agreed to experiment together and alredy had the threesome with Louise, sex with Emma doesn't happen unless you got the ian_lena_pure path during the beach trip (that's what happened to me during my playthrough). Also, let's remember that the experimentation together with Louise happens after the already consumated Lena/Louise sex. By the way, Emma doesn't say a thing about already having had sex with Ian if it happened (clearly best girl and best friend ever) which could lead to a sort of repetition of the Axel/Lena/Cherry thing.
