When a girl submits herself to a partner, the partner feels like he has full control over her. News flash! It diddn't work out that way and he's pretty bummed about it. Oh noes "but...but I am the daddy to my babygirl!"

Eva was planning to include sex scenes with Lena/Ed in earlier chapters, but it was cut out to save time. And at this point in the story, I doubt it'll ever happen, as Ed and the Café arc are long past.
There's a few possible explanations that could be somewhat plausible -- Ian's perspective on cheating or relationships in general could've changed due to recent developments in his life. E.g. maybe he'd recognize that indeed, spending one's whole life having sex with just one person isn't really all that hot, especially now that he's fucked around with many different girls, and so having an open relationship with a partner he's clicked very well in the past --and one he still has romantic feelings for-- would be a very good arrangement to avoid this monotony and the whole "are they cheating on me?" issue.
Ian can also very well be a cheater himself now, which helps to see things from that perspective and potentially grow more understanding.

True. Also, Ian's pretty perspective about cheating. He knew his parents were seeing other people without even telling him, he also knew Lena was cheating on him with Mike in one of his monologues at the beach. No, Jeremy didn't rat out Mike, but Ian caught the wind.
Maybe I'm wrong but to me it's pretty clear that Ian would have forgiven Gillian when it happened. The difference with Lena and Axel is that he didn't have a choice. Gillian didn't just cheat, he left him for the other guy and is still with him as far as we know.
Why Ian or any other person would give a cheater a chance?. It's something that I struggled myself to truly understand, but I probably have trust issues. I have not been able to even get into a relationship with someone who cheated on another guy with me. I can't stop the doubt of "if she did that to the other guy, why wouldn't she do the same to me?" and for me a relationship without complete trust makes no sense. Intelectually I can understand that some people can truly forgive other people mistakes and people can change and not cheat again. Also, some people are really terrified of being alone or too dependant on their partner, so they let them get away with anything.
Hmm, i'm pretty sure that one comes from Jeremy too. It's just not spelt out specifically -- Jeremy has single text variant for any sex Lena had at the club (except for Axel who gets custom phrase about Lena's ex) While that generic variant doesn't delve into specifics, since that'd be extra work, i think we can sort of presume either Jeremy does tell Ian some more details during that talk, or EK simply slipped and didn't remember that Mike wasn't outright named.

I've been on the receiving end when I was pursuing my higher education. Let me tell you, it's not fun at all. Once that trust is broken, it's hard to come to terms with that person. Personally I blocked that person and moved on and never looked back, even if they asked for forgiveness.
Your last line about being terrified to be left alone is the classic gateway to cuckoldry. I've seen and heard stories on how the partner manipulate this conundrum to their liking and take advantage of it. The world's a cruel place.

There's some other aspects, too -- one, the jealousy over sexual exclusivity may fade with time, or if it's not a significant source of person's sense of self-worth to begin with. And two, eventually we may come to realize that people will often lie in relationships about many things and doing it about sex with someone else is just one of those things. Requiring absolute trust, i.e. the partner always tell nothing but truth and absolute truth and be completely and utterly loyal 100% of the time, it's simply something that can't be realistically expected from anyone.
Even without something like cheating or even worse like violence, I know some couples than for them being together is more like a routine than anything else. But they are afraid to break that routine, specially when there are things like properties, children and all that.
You have a point and I meant no disrespect to people that see things differently than I do. I already said I probably have trust issues, so that's on me. But I don't see complete trust in someone as expecting 100% truth and loyalty 24/7. People are entitled to their secrets and a lot of times it's even difficult not to lie to ourselves, so I don't expect my girlfriend to be completely open with all her thoughts and feelings. To be honest, that much sharing would probably make me uncomfortable. Trust is the reason why I don't need to know everything or being reassured beyond any reasonable doubt that she will be loyal. Because there is no doubt to begin with, I believe and expect she will be loyal to me in any situation. And what if she isn't?, well that's on her and the relationship would be over if that happened. I don't do jealously or manipulating games any more, it's way too tiring, toxic and pointless.

I know the next update will be on Ian's POV but I'm more curious about the Billy photoshoot event.I had Lena acting suspicious of Billy in most of my playthroughs and I hope it won't be similar to the Seymour update which you don't get to see anything if you don't have any relationship points with Billy.
