Ian should be able to get tatted or allow for more customization. Lena can get tats and a piercing. on top of having more outfit variety and accesories.

Alex is a pos who can't get over the fact Lena wised up to his shit and dumped his ass. Seymour sees something in Lena that he wants and he's accustomed to getting what he wants and even a "no" won't deter him.
Although it seems that if you're on their routes they do shape up a bit. Damn near all the LIs for both mcs have some sort of red flag to various degrees. I think this was done by Eva to try and push the playes to have Lena get with Ian.
