Or maybe a talk between Ian x Holy x Lena if you are going that route, there was not a lot of conversation between 3 of them since agreeing on the relationship, so i hope Eva expand on that.
Hmm yes, the trinity is technically a new relationship too, so that is a possibility.

I'm wondering....as the story progresses and were given the option to get an apartment, will we be given more than one apartment option based on income and circumstance?
So far moving seems more of a necessity for Ian (if their's a decline in friendship with Perry) than Lena, their isn't much reason for Lena moving apart from getting additional privacy, unless she refused to having a friendship with either Stan or Louise and it creates conflict. Instead either Stan or Louise leaving made more sense after a decline in friendship, seeing as befriending one basically prevents really having a good relationship with the other and tbh I wouldn't be mad at the narrative if it resulted in Holly being the one moving in.
When it comes to moving in with another Ian may have the option of either Cindy or Cherry and for Lena either Axel or maybe Seymour but that's based on romance?

Well, I think the variables in the files for Ian and Lena's living arrangements have been in the game since the early days, so it was probably always a plan to explore this idea some time. I recall Eva initially commented that she intended there to be a time skip, but it's kinda hard to imagine that would fit into the story with the amount of chapters left, even if we reach the max estimate of 20.

Well, Eva already introduced the rent hike. Seymour is buying property, so the suggestion might be that his purchases are driving up land values in the city, which is the cause of increased rent, even if indirectly.

So I could see Lena moving depending on her relationship to Seymour, as opposed to Stan and Louise, though they of course could still be secondary causes.

If Lena is on the Seymour route, would it not be a sensible development that Seymour offer her a place to live? Similar to how Ash can have the option to move in with Jess in GGGB depending on her status.
Alternatively if Lena is not on the Seymour route he could force rent up to a point where Lena can no longer realistically live as centrally as Stan's apartment seems to be, forcing her to have to consider moving away.
If this was the structure then Lena moving out would be a matter of when rather than if. Of course on the Stan route it's possible she could stay in the current apartment if Stan's willing to pay the rent, he does have full time employment. Ash could choose to stay in her childhood home in GGGB too.

Lena could potentially move in with Robert too, or Mike if he breaks up with his girlfriend. Eva will probably have to choose to make the main character's living arrangements either wildly dependent, or narrow it down to some specific options. The default could of course be Ian and Lena sharing with Holly, with dependent versions if one of them find other arrangements.

Can't they move in with each other? Like Lena with Ian either renting with Perry or Louise & Stan or having their own home?

Maybe? I just feel like that'd introduce too many unnecessary variables. Ian and Lena living in a new place together would function as a nice default and if they individually have other options that'd be easy enough to implement. Moving one MC into the current home of the other just adds more conditions to account for.

But I mean, sure, it's possible.

I think that's one less variable than them moving into separate houses altogether.

On another note, is the new update is still on Ian chapter or will it be the epilogue for the chapter?

This is the first time we've ever had an x.x.5 update isn't it? We've rarely had x.x.4, but the precedent has existed.

So much branching becomes present when it comes to the option of moving out. Depending on the direction Eva takes, it will take some time to implemented it all in the storyline.

The possibility of Seymour's involvement in the increased rent hike is an angle i never paid enough attention to. But it all makes sense. It's another power play, and kinda unsettling when thinking deeper. So far he's made some moves that based on paths taken leave both Lena and Ian pretty vulnerable to his manipulation. I'm wondering how many of his business moves in the end turned out to be, more underline ways to get further access to Lena. Wait a minute was it stated, who offered to buy the Cafe from Molly and Ed? And with him buying property whose to say the place Lena resides isn't up for purchase?
Although I'm working off the theory of him being obsessed with her. And obsessed he is, gaining access to Lena's bank history and details is not normal, not to mention him manipulating others to prevent her from getting additional gigs.

Yes, if you get to the edge of signing with Seymour and then deny him, he will admit to all of the underhanded things he's done, including putting the offer in at the cafe. (I've never not helped the cafe, so not sure what happens if you abandon them)

Updated my compressed Android port of Our Red String with JohnDupont's JDMOD to v13.3.4.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.
