I don't think the game tracks that choice, so it won't be able to reference back to that point.
Unless Eva adds it retroactively and notifies us to replay that part I guess.

I'm going to assume that this is old news and I've just missed this as I haven't played in a while. But I was scrolling through the gallery and noticed that there are a whole bunch of short scenes and photos that are locked in the gallery whereas previously I had unlocked every scene. I unlocked the gallery temporarily just to browse through them and see if it was a glitch or if Lara had just changed around the gallery. Turns out it probably wasn't. Some photos look completely new to me and others look familiar, but now have a slide show with a few more pictures in them or animations like it was a video instead of a photo.
Anyway, I thought I'd post this in case anyone else was living the same level of ignorance I was.
Edit: I've scrolled further along and most of it does seem to be alternate scenes divided up so nothing too new. Just a few things that were added to the early chapters and a bunch of scenes that got seperated out in the gallery.

Wasn't this added an update or two ago? I recall Eva giving Lena a piece of shower art in the first chapters that wasn't there before and that was added in an update where she commented on adding some small bits and bobs to the early game in general.
Yeah, that was one of the ones that I had locked. Another was Lena doing an earlier post to Stalkfap that was still locked. And another was Lena checking out Ivy's stalkfap; the original photo was there, but then there was a second photo and a short twerking animation added that I wasn't familiar with. But I remember those being added an update or two ago like you said.
Most of the rest of the locked scenes in my gallery were of all of Mike's scenes. Not really sure why they all got locked on me, as I have two Mike playthroughs. And a couple of Holly scenes that were just broken up a little better. And surprisingly a Cherry scene from chapter 9. I say surprisingly because a Cherry route was the last one I played through and I would have expected it to be unlocked. Anyway, it just appears that Lara's last update to the gallery just locked a bunch of scenes for me.
