Awhile back I wrote a breakdown of one scene in particular, Axel and Ian meeting up, that was especially noticeable and some people commented on it giving gay vibes: https://f95zone.to/threads/our-red-string-ch-13-3-6-eva-kiss.48813/post-5172672

I haven't played through in awhile but I'm pretty that scene was later edited out and is gone from the current version.
I had the impression this was Eva's attempt to display male friendships, to get behind the tough male "bro" talk when its just between themselves. If it turns out not believable, maybe its because the writer is female and could only describe something from an outside perspective without understanding how a man would actually act.

Dunno. People accused Harry Potter of being gay, because he was written overly observant of other guys attractiveness. The simple truth was that the author is female, hence Harry occasionally had a perspective that would be more fitting of a middle aged woman instead of a teenage boy.

I acknowledged this in the post I just linked. I didn't say it was evidence that EK is a gay man, I said the scene reads like an interaction between women OR gay men. Nevertheless, the scene itself (since it was between two men) was noticeably gay-coded, and IMO the author realized that which is why it was removed in later versions.

I do lean more toward the idea that EK is a male for various reasons, but I wouldn't bet my house either way.

I guess Harry really wanted Draco to "slither in" to his chamber of secrets

I assume it was removed because Ian and Axel started to form a friendship and Axel was displayed very positive and redeemable. With the remaster, all positive hints of Axel were removed and additional lines highlighted how untrustworthy he is. So I assume Axels development was streamlined to be a simple antagonist. Making him a Jack kinda character would give him more depth, but also make the game even more complicated, so he was simplified to be a straight antagonist.

varpep thats when the fandom and fanfiction kicked in.

You may be right, but also not every teenage boy think the same way. Some might have a more "feminine" side

100$ says Eva's real name is Stevan and he's a neckbeard creating this game from his parents basement and Stan is actually his self insert.
Perhaps we will never really know.:Kappa:
If that's the case, then Louise's writing makes more sense. Doesn't make her less unlikeable but still.
Eva wrote to Louise that way, but Louise's only purpose is to be a side hoe.
The twist: it's Louise that is self-insert. That's why Lena doesn't get any decent boyfriends, because she's modeled after the author's hated friend/rival and EK has her revenge making her suffer Roberts and the like.:coffee:
That makes sense.:KEK:
I initially bought the idea that EK was a woman, because GGGB was definitely not written by a male American. However I changed my mind when I learnt EK is Catalan Spanish. GGGB and ORS are written like a female American but as a male Spanish would write. There is a bit of Pedro Almodovar in ORS. Perry is a recurring character in his movies, and Lena has something of Penelope Cruz's characters in his movies. I am still not sure yet, but if I was pushed to bet, my money would be on EK being a male with sissy, cuckold and BBC fetishes.
Your hypothesis was fine until I read the last few lines of text.:BootyTime:
We need a Gillian route
We need the path of revenge against Gillian. And from what I can see, that is already in progress.
Yeah I have noticed that writing interactions between straight males don't seem to come naturally to this author, which would make sense if the author was a woman but could also indicate a gay/fem male. There's often a subtle gay subtext to the conversations between the straight men.
Eva is a woman, I know, she's especially bad with man-to-man insults. I mean, what kind of insult is “spaghetti face”? That's the kind of insult a private school elementary school kid would use.

By the way, man, hide your fetishes better. You made it too obvious in the end.

If there is a Gay character in the game, my money would be on Wen. Jeremy strikes me as a chaser and only interested in women. Perry I could see being open to having a homosexual experience, but I would imagine once he had done it, he would still be on team straight, unless he found a very special someone who pressed all the right buttons for him.
Apart from Perry and his bicurious anus, no, there are no other gay characters. Although there are quite a few lesbians, but that's another matter entirely.
Could be the Eskimo brothers' confession to Allison's ex? That level of fraternity should be celebrated. Love those guys. No homo

And Perry is known to be a bit frisky, admitting* consuming futanari hentai, and maybe tranny porn too, and playing with his butthole in the drinking game. Nonetheless, that makes me believe he is one of the guys more sure about his sexual orientation
Yeah, that shit with the Eskimos brothers was pretty gay.
Yeah, and that's why most players want to break Axel's face during his fight with Ian but I want those two to finally hate fuck each other because there's nothing better than sexual tension between two male rivals in general. Yes, I'm guilty of reading too many enemies to lovers fiction of supposedly straight men.
I think you answered your own question; you've read too much fiction of that kind. You have to learn the difference between two guys who want to fuck each other and two guys who want to beat each other to death.

Exactly, nothing confirms more that Eva is a woman than the way she writes certain aspects of her male characters.

By your logic playboys aren't capable of loving a woman and be faithful but ok, if you say so...
Both of those kinds need to do some work on themselves, and seek some therapy for sex addiction. A genuinely good therapist really helps, NGL.

RELEASE HEADER copia.jpg

Today I’m bringing you something a little different. When I first started publishing GGGB, part of the development cycle included a short preview of the upcoming chapter, offered as a reward to the highest-tier patrons.

Back then, of course, I was releasing a chapter every month, and they were much shorter. So, out of the four or five scenes each chapter had, the preview would only include the first one, and sometimes not even that. That’s why I eventually stopped releasing previews altogether.

However, after this long wait, I thought it might be a good idea to whet your appetite a little by of what Chapter 14 of ORS is shaping up to be.

NOW, BEFORE you start upping your tier pledges: This preview will be accessible for the few loyal Bombshell patrons today, and Diva patrons will get it on Friday. Then, Friends with Benefits will get access on Monday.

I'm sure you can wait a few day, right? After all, this preview only contains the first scene of the chapter (and a spicy scene in a certain path), so it's more like a teaser. You've been warned!

As for the chapter’s development, I’m still in overdrive, trying to finish as much as I can and have a build ready by late August or early September. I’m juggling a lot of things at once and barely have time for anything else, my only goal right now is to deliver something as complete and satisfying as possible.

I’ll probably need a break afterwards… but it’s about time ORS got the update it deserves.
