Jeremy and Perry are two sides of the same insecure coin. Only their approach to coping with their insecurities is different. Jeremy jokes, lies, and brags while Perry rages, whines, and procrastinates. Both start as being emotionally distant from women. Jeremy does it through hookups, while Perry does it through self-pity. Depending on the playthrough, it makes sense that Ian becomes closer to one or the other.
Considering Cindy gets frustrated with how Wade treats her to the point she'll cheat on him and ultimately break up, and that Wade is pretty responsive to Ian's girlfriend hitting on him even when Ian is right there, it's quite funny you'd present him here as some sort of a better human being, one that doesn't treat women like garbage and is above cucking.

Jeremy doesn't hook up with any girl unless they agree on it (like any person with basic sensibility).
As usual, Jeremy's biggest screw-up, that he hides Ian and Cindy fucking from Wade, wasn't even mentioned. Because that is convenient for Ian/the player, so its not bad behaviour, right? Jeremy sucks because he can hook up with girls that Ian/the player may have in sight, the audacity.
Who and what. Lena, Ivy, Alison and Emma knows he just want to fuck, none of them expect to be in a relationship with him. They either agree with him or refuse him (and he backs down in the latter case). Louise remains, and while there is some blame on Jeremy's side, its also clear she is too immature to be in a relationship and has wrong expectations with all of her partners (Lena and Ian just as much).
If Alison isn't taken, Jeremy is as free to make a move on her as every other person. And if Ian invites him to a threesome and spurns him on, that's on him.

No one knew more than Jeremy how fucked up Ian was after Gillian cheated on him. He was being a bro and did not tell him about it, because he didn't want to see Ian spiral down again. You may call that being a "bad friend" but given Ian's trauma (which is STILL strong enough by Episode 2 where if you don't have the stats, Ian ends up with a limp dick and no sex)
I agree that how he treats other women and stuff is pretty shitty, but we're talking about friend to friend, not personality to personality when it comes down to Jeremy.
It's not Jeremy's fault, that, if the player wants Lena to suck his dick so much, the player gets his wish eventually.
