I remember some of these absolute bums hosted classes and sold courses in which they told insecure young men that the best way to approach random women on the street is to do magic tricks with playing cards like a retarded court jester. :Kappa:
Wasn't that the guys who sold the book "The Game"? It was hilariously bad lmao

Hi everyone, one question: Does anyone know what program the creator uses to create the characters, or does the creator use AI? Thanks.
Check the date of the thread, this game is older than the kind of AI people use to pump out slop games en masse with these days.

As for the characters, in this game most of the girls are based on porn actresses or NSFW models. Some of the male characters are references, modelled after the likeness of certain celebs or other known persons. Not everyone has a 1:1 real person inspiration though I think.
I guess you could say the program used is photoshop? Eva traces her art from screenshots and images from porn.

Not sure if you mean the actual software (in which case I don't know, probably one of the big ones like photoshop) or the 'method'. IIRC she traces off of real models for all her scenes. No AI.

Come to think of it I heard tracing was taboo in the art community. Lucky for us a lot of things are already taboo on this site so Eva couldn't care less. Turns out the best art for porn games is art traced from actual porn. Honestly I wouldn't be mad if everyone started tracing porn for their games too. I mean it won't still reach the quality of ORS but at least we'll have nice art to look at.

I think Eva identifies more as a developer than an artist really, she's never really expressed a deep desire to create her own unique art style as such, and since she's dabbled with AI backgrounds I would say she probably cares very little for what they disapprove of in the art community. This isn't really unique for solo devs though, creating games alone often means finding shortcuts to do the parts you aren't as good at.

Yes, but then they get caught doing it hemselves all the time. I.e Greg Land, Rian Gonzales, Salvador Larroca. etc. etc.. The list is miles long. Tracing, photo reference, and swiping are extremely common in the comics industry, and always have been. In my experience artists who criticize tracing do it themselves, but often from their own photos or similar, which is less "bustable". Why should VN creators be held to a higher standard? I myself don't see any problem with tracing images, transformative use and all that good stuff. Saves you a ton of time too. Ofcourse, if it's a 1:1 copy, you can get in some legal trouble if you're super unlucky and pissed of some big company or rich artist.

The movie Magnolia has Tom Cruz playing a character that was an "expert" on picking up women who hosted paid courses on how to "get any woman", kind of funny/tragic/gross all at once. Definitely a parody of that part of the culture when the movie was made.

She recreated Billy's party in real life :KEK:
Honestly, if I was an eroge dev, I'd use my own life situations to create scenarios too.

I feel like there is some good AI based games, but yes, for the most part it is slop.

Multiic has the best potential I reckon.

RELEASE HEADER copia.jpg

This is (hopefully) the last status update before the release of Chapter 14.1.1.

I’m playtesting, going over the text, editing, fixing things, coding sprites, music and sound effects, and I think I’ve got a more or less polished final version (though I’m sure there are still bugs and narrative inconsistencies hiding in there).

I’ve finished all the core content I wanted to include except for the final scene, which I’m honestly a bit stuck on. I’d rather not release the Alpha without it, but I’m already way behind the deadlines I set for myself to have the chapter ready, and I don’t want to keep delaying it any longer. My plan is to work on that scene while I keep editing and playtesting, and hopefully I’ll have it put together in the next few days.

I don’t want to give an exact release date because it’s already come back to bite me more than once during this chapter’s development, but I can say it’s almost ready to come out of the oven. I’ve been itching to publish all summer (I’ve spent all of August on the ‘final push’), but things always end up taking longer than you expect, and honestly these last steps have been pretty uphill. With some luck, in a few days I’ll be able to share the new content with you, and with even more luck, it will live up to expectations.
