Dont think Eva said emotional specifically but she did allude that it's a big scene she wants to add. It's also her go to excuse/reason for the delays in her updates. She's used it a few times now.

Am I mistaken or are Ian's parts of the story always coming much easier? I feel like every time Eva has to work on Lena's part she's struggling a lot. Delays, writer's block etc. while on Ian's side of the story the flow seems much more even.

Without interaction with Lena it is a lot more like a vanilla dating simulator, so maybe easier to write. I played through once keeping Ian and Lena from getting together, and it was interesting, better maybe, idk? It frees them both to do whatever the fuck they want without all the drama, so at least different.

Not really, the beach chapter took a long while in its various parts and was almost exclusively Ian pov. We only got a small Lena intermission then.
That chapter of course had both the Cindy/Axel/Wade/Ian thing happening as well as the start/end/continuation of Ian/Lena/Holly in its various different ways including all three of them getting together. Additionally Perry/Emma was going on at the same time as Ian/Emma becoming possibly romantic too.
As for the chapter after, the current one, I think it felt like Lena's initial portion took a while to dev because part of what was supposed to be her POV from the last chapter, the Seymour part, was rolled into the beginning of that chapter so her sections came out in two chunks and Ian's in only one.

I'm peaceing out of commenting, if every single one of my posts thats not deemed on topic is getting deleted. Inspite of at least half of the 1200 pages on this thread not being entirely on topic or the fact that most of my posts on here do actually address some issue with either development or storytelling in the game.
Wasn't an ass kiss either, but thats also why I stopped funding her and a few other projects.

Speaking of the Beach episode, the Lena segments are definitely the most disappointing with me having to blow past them to get to Ian's narrative. I'd argue that while I do appreciate the dual MCs, Lena's POV is at times not interesting enough, while Ian's was definitely not interesting enough at the beginning, apart from the choices of Alison/Cherry and Alison/Emma. Which as the resident Abella Danger-stan, y'all know which one I went with.
Anyway, I'll be back to commenting by the time of the actual release.
