This whole photo shot weekend reeks of either "I have a good idea, but no idea how to make it really work" or "We cover up our shady, äh, 'translawscape' operations with a faux nodelling gig". Now Ivy is very much more a corruptive force first and foremost. I am glad we can pry slutty Holly out of her grasp now with Ian. Because there will open a love path for wild Holly and Ian, probably if Ian and Holly decide to stay together after the weekend.
This Ian part of the chapter I look forward to more than the rest of the "model shot". Not a bad storyline, but very specific for just a couple paths, mainly the slut or greedy Lena.

Ivy's been degrading as a person and has been getting worse consistently, I feel like that's intentional and the earliest you can see this is when she tries to setup Holly with Mark. It seems normal and not a problem, but that's where I always thought she was testing the waters and seeing if Holly will commit or if she'll pussy out. (She does if she and Ian start unofficially dating)

I mean it should be obvious that Ivy as a person is definitely 'out there'. Posting paywalled naked (and lewd) pictures of herself? Working as a stripper? (Let's call a spade a spade) Those are red flags. And much like people get better with a good influence, they also get worse if they have a bad influence. Ivy herself is a bad influence on Holly and Lena, and she constantly pushes boundaries for the thrill of it. I don't really get this impression in my play through where Lena and Mike didn't get together. Ivy barely interacts with Mike and doesn't show much interest in him beyond the supposed earlier hookup. At no point she talks about wanting a boyfriend, quite the opposite in fact.

The last update shows Ivy more like someone who simply wants to be the center of attention and acknowledged as the queen bee, and she gets jealous and mean towards people who she thinks upstage her. Even when that someone is her closest friend. In a way Zarina describes her accurately, but the irony here is that Zarina herself is not really different, only a bit less overt (at this point) about being just as much of a jealous snake.

Defintely agree! The early Ivy, as I wrote, was a wild one, happily pushing boundaries, but also a good friend. Even the pushing/egging on of Holly in the early phase can be seen as positive, because Ivy saw that Holly was way too shy to go for Ian like she was right then and needed a strong push to get going.
Up until the beach holiday Ivy´s influence on slut Holly was still slightly positive, since as we could see, Holly finally got Ian herself. Something she could have never done before (outside the book fair, which was an optional choice to do).

I disagree. She was pushing Holly to degrade herself since the beginning. Given that Mark was a presence in GGGB, and clearly picks up women at the club Ivy works at, to take what seems like unsolicited pics of them. I think Ivy was pushing Holly in a specific way, that wasn't to help her.
