Yes!

The update feels kinda parachuted into the scenario to add even more what ifs than the story ultimately needs. It's weird. But yeah, being able to have meaningful convos with Jess (I am yet to talk to Bad Jess), Zarina and Mike was nice so I'm not gonna spit on that. It has potential to give us nice things later on. I'm happy Dave gets mentioned, my good Jess was dating Ash though.

Imma say it again, Zarina is a great addition. dunno where she fits later tho. The character feels out of reach of the Baluart main crew. Unless you isolate routes further which I think would be a major mistake.

The rest is truly fucking meh for me.

Ivy not beating the virgin allegations plus Eva really had zero subtlety with her.

Billy/Ivy was a nauseating sight and I couldn't give half a fuck about Jeremy or Anthony. One's there for the BBCtards and the other for muh DILF crew. It's whatever.

Ironically, if you take him at face value Anthony seems currently to be the optimal option for Lena out of all her possible choices -- he's a well-adjusted and pretty rich adult man who has his own interests and some apparent knowledge and skills, can be polite, nice and also give Lena good dicking. He's effectively Seymour without creepy parts.

Imagine if Anthony was black. People would go crazy. :KEK:

He's the charismatic (more than Seymour at least), thick skinned, decent (personality wise) dude whom you'd share a beer with at a family BBQ. At least, that's how he seems to me.

Either that, or he's Johnny Sins with hair. I'll leave that up to y'all to decide LMAO

Upon clicking to launch the game, the screen invariably freezes at 20-50% loading, rendering even the mouse immobile. This necessitates a forced restart. However, this issue does not occur with my other games. Attempts to resolve it via compatibility mode or re-downloading ultimately result in the same freeze. Having restarted the system over a dozen times, how might this be resolved?

I see your point. :BootyTime: I guess there's a niche that can be fond of him. My main concern is, like with Zarina, how are you gonna get that relationship going without isolating Lena from the Baluart crew afterward. Unless we going down the fully independent paths and make Ian and Lena's POVs never cross and show the 2 sides of the story.

"Ivy Puts Her Mark On Lena" and "The Girls Pose For Nymph". Neither of those show up in my gallery. How do I get them? Does every scene in the gallery exist? Or are some planned for future development?

I think some of it is similar to the beach house in that it allows to establish some relationships, except for Lena rather than Ian -- specifically, there are options to "claim Jeremy" or "claim Mike" which seem very much like advancing the plot for players who are into these pairings.

I mentioned Mike and Jeremy elsewhere in that post. The problem being, they're both known cheaters / womanizers. Not saying they can't be "fixed" but Lena laying claim to either of them doesn't land, for me, like Ian reaching out to Cherry, Cindy, Jess, Minerva, Allison or Emma.

1) I really don't feel like the build up has been there with Lena's relationships like it has been with Ian's.

2) I don't feel as confident about it lasting like I do with any of Ian's relationships. Which is wild to think about Minerva or Emma being a more stable relationship.

Now obviously I'm looking at it from a more wholesome / romantic angle. If you're into the cheating / slutty / it's just sex, then what was given is probably fine.

We still have day three, which could resolve some of my concerns. But by night 2 at the beach house Ian had cemented his relationship, mostly. Wade was coming down from his trip and deciding on who was at fault. Perry had, had his moment with Emma or exploding at Ian. Ian and Lena could have broken up, Holly could have made her move, etc. Day three was just the come down from all those events.

Minerva's situation has been consistently explained throughout her affair with Ian that her own marriage was a dead end with no passion, lust or love. Ian somehow ignites Minerva's fire back to life, through friction with his confrontational behavior early on and then by being able to tango with her outside of sex.

The same can't be said about Jeremy and Mike. Both still feel like they mix like oil and water with Lena. Jeremy is still a walking fetish. Even his lovey dovey dialogues with Lena feel off and out of character, meanwhile Mike still somewhat unapologetic, like he doesn't wanna hurt Gillian/his gf but still basically wants a wild life that doesn't fit with a committed relationship. At least that's what I understood from his 'man up' comment.

I feel like the dude and Lena are just pretending at that point, since they're both well aware that Jeremy is a cheating, unapologetic piece of shit guy and Lena is no better (going behind her friend's back as an example) so they 'pretend' while just mainly enjoying themselves. I'm pretty sure neither of them are like, interested in anything long-term. At least, definitely not Jeremy: he's the male (sane and not corrupting) version of Ivy. He's gonna be fucking around for a long time until he finally settles down with someone.

Overall this event just feels like it's setting more up than paying off any storylines. Not to say there aren't some interesting setups here, it just feels odd with how late in the game we are and how long this event has been set up.
But is this surprising? The beach chapter worked the same way, the first few updates going there Ian just went to the place and maybe banged Emma or Holly. Trinity gets set up in a talk with Holly potentially, Wade mopes about Cindy and Emma reacts to how much food she has and Perry to her dress and dog.

In the update after that we then got the arrival of Lena, Ian's and her reacting to each other cheating, the culmination of Wade's break-up with Cindy, Perry confessing to Emma and Trinity setting off if you made choices in that direction. Similarly next update I imagine there will be some payoff depedning on how competitive Lena was with Ivy, who she fucked and how she behaved around the new girls.

I feel like you're comparing all of ch. 12 to a third of chapter 14.

I'm comparing the first two nights of the beach trip to the first two nights at the pool party. This update was also supposed to be equivalent to 2/3s of the full event. So, yes, it's not a complete comparison I'll admit, I still think it's a fair comparison.

Each and every character your mentioned was introduced nearly from day 1. Each and every outcome you described was a culmination from characters you knew, interacted with consistently and that made the whole ass thing rewarding.

Here you have 3 brand new characters, one of which looks like she spreads glue on her toasts, 2 characters pre-established as pure fuckboys with nearly no depth. Then you have Billy and... Danny. Jess hasn't had nearly enough interaction with Lena to have anything meaningful with her imo. Ivy is the only one with something cool potentially happening.
