If you go for Holly as Ian after she has been slutified, you reckon she will stop being slutty (not visually, but say 'No!' to other guys/girls) ? Let's assume Ian does not have any interest in other girls at this point and dedicates himself fully to her.

Also... Is Gillian changed now and Ian's perverted dreams is just his brain having a resentment/secret desire for her? Or is she still a baddie who cheats?

Everything interesting always happens on Ian POV and these days we get his POV per 5 Lena POV's ..

Holly slutifed herself for Ian. She thought Ian liked Lena and Ivy for being comfortable in their skin. I am pretty sure Holly will stop fooling around with different people if she gets Ian for herself and solidifies her relationship, unless the cuck lords ask EK to make a dumbass path like Lena has. It's the same with Alison, too. She also goes above and beyond to change herself, hoping that Ian would like her more.

It's Ian's insecure mind playing tricks on him. No wonder he's a fucking loser in that playthrough. You can clearly see that Gillian is trying to get close to Ian, maybe as a platonic friend or even more, who knows.

I guess when first thinking about these chapters, it made sense to have an Ian-centric chapter with all his side characters, and a Lena-centric one with hers. The problem is that Lena’s characters just aren’t that interesting because they all revolve around corruption arcs or sex scenes. Ian has his childhood friends, Holly, and Lena herself — all characters who exist outside of their sexual content. Lena, on the other hand, has coworkers who mainly serve the plot as scene setups (Billy and the photographer), Ivy who’s just portrayed as a slut, Jeremy who’s basically just a BBC stereotype, and Mike whose whole angle is the cheating taboo. They’re all built around kinks. Lena’s friends are so uninteresting that Eva ended up introducing a bunch of new characters and even giving the old guy a ton of scenes.

We don't know.

Slut Holly is pretty deep in. I suspect we get the hypocritical "she is only a slut to Ian"* to satisfy the insecure audience, though it would make far more sense if her getting down that path has consequences for her.

Gillian doesn't act at all like in his dreams, so its probably only in his mind. It's implicated that she isn't happy with Mike cheating on her with Ivy (and possibly Lena), and took him over Ian because they were high school sweethearts. Assuming of course that she is Mike's girlfriend, Eva can still be stupid enough to mess this up to "revert expectations".

*How does that even make sense, the point of being a slut is that you are not committing to your boyfriend.

I suppose the fact "it's the same for Alison" may very well be a reason Holly won't have identical arc, no matter how insecure people might feel about it. Ian had a fair chance to get together with prim and proper Holly (2 chances in fact, if you include the trinity) so if he passed on it he's got no basis to complain the girl has discovered sex with various people is fun in general, and wants to keep at it. Especially with Ivy's coaching her.

He had some buildup with Lena, so he was possibly introduced as a potential love interest in the early development. Most likely, Eva lost interest in him and/or the patreons gave him a very low ranking, further suggesting to drop him.
:KEK: What fucking build up are you talking about? There was literally nothing there to begin with other than slightly perving on Lena. That was literally it. There was no flirting, no build up, nada. How delusioned do you have to be to think that the entirely minute interactions prior = "build up".

I mean, it wasn't just that. He can walk in on Lena changing and you can have Lena not call him out on it, so he doesn't stop looking, yes. But he also can 'stalk' her on social media and leave comments praising her beauty on her posts, and then he can also show up to one of her nude art model sessions to draw her. There was plenty of hints being dropped there IMO as well. That he was 'into' Lena, and could have been a potential 'caring daddy-esc' kink LI for her, if the interest was there amongst the playerbase.

But I guess it wasn't enough, as he has just been apparently dropped and forgotten about. And now instead EK is seemingly trying out that new guy Anthony instead, to fill a version of that kink.

I may be well off here, but i think Anthony might be quite a different offering, that the game was missing up to this point, and that being a well-adjusted, mature and successful older man who is not a creep. A genuine solid relationship option for Lena in other words, and something that people have complained was lacking.

I know, that's why I said 'version of that kink' and just a redo or something.

I don't think he's just going to be the exact same thing as what Ed was going to be. I agree with you, I also just mean it's her attempt at doing a version of 'daddy, but not toxic' Like that annoying grey cunt Seymour is.

It is true though that we do need to see more of Anthony to see if that's true or not. Or if he's putting up a front and is also going to be a bit of a creep in some way.

It doesn't have to be short Ian's POC at this point. All of that can be a part of full Ian's POV which would be the next chapter, either picking up right at the heels of this one, or going back a couple days to provide Ian's perspective of (some) of the same events, along with rest of his own experiences.
I disagree, because I strongly believe that your Ian's choices/reactions/decisions about what has been going on with Lena in the first two days of this arc will determine a lot of what will happen at the party.
