The lack of Cherry in the game is such a missed opportunity. She could be an amazing foil for Cindy since Cherry is an experienced model (in which Cindy has insecurities for being new to the industry) and she had a past with Lena and Axel so the dynamic among Lena, Cindy and Cherry would have been a lot more interesting. You, as Ian, could either push Cherry to be closer to Cindy where they could bond over modeling and have interesting talks about Axel, or you could push Cherry to be closer Lena where they slowly patch things up, and bond with their trauma. It would add so much drama and new opportunities. This could open paths where you can have a throuple with Cherry and Cindy, or with Lena and Cherry. It would also add the possibility of being cucked by Axel since Cherry getting closer to Cindy or Lena could slide over into getting closer with Axel.

If I had to bet on a relationship that is not happening. A CherryXLena or a IanXLenaXCherry Throuple would rank very highly.

It wasn't Cherry who caused Lena's trauma, it was Axel. He set things up and manipulated them. He was the one who cheated on Lena and caused her pain. Sure, Cherry is partly responsible for what happened but she isn't the one who is in a committed relationship to their partner, she isn't the one who cheated. Even then, Lena can go back to Axel as if forgiving him for what he's done. What's not to say that she could forgive Cherry too? Even Cherry was traumatized for what happened, unable to form a committed relationship because of it. Lena and Cherry could definitely bond for what happened to them. The game even has a variable if you, as Ian, tell Cherry that she should try to patch things up with Lena.
It's funny that you ask how they could bond for causing pain when they were friends before, and you could say the same with Axel. "Hey, girl! Sorry for being a cheater in our relationship. Let's bond! And also jump on my dick that I've put inside Cherry!"
They don't have to do anything. Just because Ian pushes for it doesn't mean Lena is obliged to change her feelings on the matter. Just like Ian's meddling in Cindy's and Wade's relationship doesn't make them stay together.
Axel didn't manipulate Cherry, she does say explicitly herself that she knew exactly what she was doing. She is just as guilty of what Lena has experienced as Axel is, being a willing participant and lying to Lena throughout it.
It takes two people in order for cheating on the third to happen. If it wasn't for Cherry taking part, then Axel could at best cheat on Lena with his own hand.
Say what now? Cherry is still hung up on Axel (for a while) thinking maybe she could have him to herself now that Lena was out of the picture. That's not trauma, that's just pining for a known asshole (one that she had hots for in the first place)
