If there's one guy in the game that wouldn't make me feel insecure in this situation, it'd be Robert. (Oh, alright. To be fair, Robert, Stan or Perry).

Such is life. Being born a gatekeeper, you can be a straight 6/10 and find just about any key for your lock if you've oiled it well enough. Just don't expect it to be there in the morning. Plus the other doors will talk a lot of smack. Being a 10/10 gold key, you can open just about any door in the universe, even if people call you a straight up piece of shit. Everyone else has to work for it.

I agree I like to play many different scenarios, this is where Ian is in love with Lena but she only sees him as a fuck buddy, he wanted a relationship with her but she denied him, I also have a save where the exact opposite happens, Lena loves Ian but he doesn't care and fucks around.... And the possibility of doing this is why this game is so special, The story can go anyway you want it to

I was using Playnite to be my virtual library of games and I added 'Our Red String' to it, I played all 9 episodes (final version only), I'm a person who reads pretty fast and even then the game lasted almost 22h!!

I know updates take time to be released but it's impressive that only 9 episodes last that long considering how many choices and paths this game has to offer! And it was just 1 playthrough because I'm not used to making multiple saves and multiple routes, I like to make my choices and see the consequences of it.

Haha. Nice. Had no idea on the latter half of the dialogue as I have absolutely no interest in Robert for Lena. Too bad there aren't other playthrough decisions as Lena that would trigger that dialogue, even up to certain porn obsessions.

A Lena with low enough standards to choose Robert, even for a few chapters, kind of lessens her character's worth and desirability to me. It also waters down the attainability dynamic between an average Ian (which all Ians start out as) vs a potential supermodel-nice-girl Lena he's" lucked out" with. The unexpected but plausible (passions, goals, aligned experiences) pairing is no longer so unexpected and just doesn't have the same oomph.

Could very well be, if Eva has the time or focus for it to navigate how Ian/Allison would be open to another one after that disaster (for Ian at least). I can also see her being overloaded with work and just having Ian be 100% into it in the next one, 0 to 60 (I mean, the similar path in GGGB was awful at the end). Hopefully the former rather than the latter.

Build-up has already been there though if Ian has gone the voyeur route and watched all the phone content and I think it could've been smoothly and believably done in chapter 10 with that scenario. Can arguably hold off on him pulling the phone out and clicking record, for a slightly slower roll. I mean, you gotta start somewhere and there's limited time for content creation. Though that content is still locked off in an Ian/Alison relationship route, so it might be too quick for that specific scenario.

I mean, the game has endless possibilities in the future. Eva Kiss (or Eva Tease ) needs to gather more people to work with her on the project, so that updates can be done faster.

This is something people don't understand when they're "LASY MILKING DEV MLKR"ing, comparing the game to a few other titles' production time. They play through one route or two in this one, comparing it to a game that has three routes tops. "WHERE IZ TEH WERK?!?"

I've played the crap out of this game and I've still likely only seen about a third of the content available, other than in forum post descriptions and rooting through the files.

Was it the correct choice, given resources? Well, in her shoes, I'd likely plan from the start and scale paths back a shit ton, elimiating things like outfit selection/tats, providing three streamlined paths to mix it up with and a smaller host of characters. Just enough choice to be satisfying for one or two play-throughs of the same time length as ORS, but in half the dev time (albeit with a more limited market reach). But slow release on ORS is definitely not coupled with lack of content or lack of hard work. Plus, ridiculously large path selection is basically Eva's brand. With so many disparate fanbases satisfied by the same game, she runs the risk of losing chunks of her base when she doesn't provide the sort of path content they prefer that was featured in both GGGB and ORS.
