CaptainBlt You make great fanart first of all and the realism ones look great on their own, but they are in my opinion immersion breaking and don't look good in this thread so I agree with you "cartoon" ones look better because it's how the game is done and how characters grew on us. Plus if there is a flaw in realism one it immediately stands out, but if cartoon one has flaw it's a lot less unbelievable.

Some thoughts about a possible remaster of GGGB using AI tools: First we need to understand how GGGB was made, it becomes very obvious if you look for it but many images were redrawings of porn scenes, here is an example from the GGGB thread:

Next we need to undestand how the images are put together. Essentially there are two types of scenes for a remaster to consider. On the left scenes that are compositions, and on the right scenes that are full images.

Full image scenes can be remastered as full, but it would be smarter to first split them into the layers, in this case background and mom. Now most scenes/images are made up of, imho, 4 different types of layers. Background, MC (including variations), NPCs (including different variations) and most complicated MC customizations (like tits, tattoos...).

Now for the problems. You can use webforge to "remaster" images using img2img tools. But...
  • you need to give it strict boundaries otherwise the layers would not work anymore.
  • having characters stay consistent is an issue
  • and you would need to "remaster" about 7000 images, while keeping consistency high
