This report is a day late. I apologize. Not sure where my head is at.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want from the openarms scene. It's the first sexual interaction between Suzi and MC. What do you all think their first sexual encounter should be?
Everything is taking shape nicely after the first scene. Suzi is going to help out with Moon as she seems to be unusually angry in her adulthood.

Progress Report | Over the Moon - 05/06/2024
"I am the worst. I lost track of time again. I thought I had another week before it was time for a progress report.
I'm going to go on a little tangent here. You can find a summary at the bottom of this post.
My plans for this series have been derailed ever since Petal's game was banned on Steam. Once itch.io shut me down, I had to start investing time in other things just to survive. I'm trying to build another empire so when this one finally finishes crumbling to the ground, I have something to fall back on. A lot of my time is being invested in other things so that I don't have to work at McDonald's when the Powers that Be have finally taken everything from me.
This is not fair to you guys. I should have been finished with Over the Moon at the end of last year. I should have enough funding rolling in to afford additional hands to help with coding and renders, I should have content for Penny being generated, and I should have at least one other new story in the works. But I don't because Steam and itch decided my works were too reprehensible for their platforms. It's bullshit. It's not fair to any of us.

Mid-Rant preview. Suzi chastises MC for being a numbskull. He deserves it. We all know he does.
With all that weighing on me, my motivation has wavered. I'm finding it difficult to concentrate, I'm having trouble staying positive, and I'm angry all the time. I feel robbed of the success that I earned, and I'm jealous of all the developers who are doing well because they colored inside the lines.
In light of all that, I have not been completely wasting my time. When I'm having trouble focusing on Over the Moon, I've been building assets and writing out the plot for a new game that I will be working on after OtM is complete. This is assuming both that I still have a Patreon after OtM is finished, and that you guys like the premise of the new game. We're going to codename this new AVN Project B. I may or may not have a preview for you guys inside the next release of Over the Moon. It depends on if I can make that much progress on it. Otherwise, it will be in the Chapter 4 release of Over the Moon.
TL;DR - I'm sorry Over the Moon is taking so long. However, I have a new project in the works that will be my next AVN after OtM is complete. I'll have a preview for it either in the OtM Chapter 3 release or the Chapter 4 release.
You guys are awesome for supporting me and for sticking with me through these hard times. I can't even express how much it means to me to have such generous fans. From the bottom of my Lockheart, thank you!"

How long till the update comes out for Android? I love these games btw thank you so much for making, the story is amazing I really really to the MC as well

I'm sorry that things don't seem to be going well for Lockheart. But, also, bro, what did you expect? You can't make blatant incest games and expect them to not be banned on Steam. It's a clear and widely understood rule of the platform. I don't know enough about Itch to know if that one should also have been expected or not but having your plan be breaking the rules and just hoping you get away with it is not a good plan.

I'm happy for you, so do I, but just because some people get away with it doesn't mean it isn't against the platform's rules. It absolutely is. Steam obviously doesn't have "ZERO problems with incest" or they wouldn't have banned Lockheart's games.
I would analogize it to speeding. Sure, people get away with it all the time, and as a result, you might feel persecuted if you happen to be the one that gets pulled over for it. But it is technically illegal even if everyone does it so, really, you can't complain too much, you knew what you were doing COULD get you pulled over and ticketed any time a cop had the whim to do so. Same thing here. People get away with violating Steam's policies all the time so it might feel pretty bad if you get dinged for it but just because other people get away with it doesn't necessarily mean you will, and if you make a plan that requires you to get away with flouting the rules, that's a bad plan. You wouldn't leave for work 10 minutes late every single day counting on being able to speed without getting pulled over to stop you from being late. And for the same reasons you shouldn't count on Steam income as part of your business if you're going to make AVN's that violate their policies. It's not a good plan, you might get away with it, but you might not.

They banned the games because Petal had open age setting and they considered her under 18
So every part of the trilogy was banned as they all included her

"Project B
I owe you all an apology for last week's Progress Report. I was upset with myself for not having more done in regards to Over the Moon. I don't know what is going to happen in the future with my Patreon, but I'm going to act as though it's not going to be shut down. That means I have to have another project started before Over the Moon ends.
The way this works is most people will drop support if there's no reason to hang around. If my main project finishes, and there's nothing else to look forward to just yet, there's a significant drop in support. I can't afford that drop with no other forms of revenue income.
So, I've been putting in a lot of work into Project B. The picture above is our protagonist Bobbie. I know female protagonists aren't popular in this market, generally speaking. However, there is only going to be one male love interest, and Bobbie is going to seduce and bring women to him. From my understanding, it'll be what's known as Cuckqueaning. I'm confident if you give it a chance, it will pique your interest. Even if this isn't something you're into, it very well might be after you play Project B.
There are going to be a lot of surprises in the first release for anyone who's played my previous works. I don't want to reveal too much, but I will say that it's in the same universe as Avalon and The Rose Garden trilogy.

Over the Moon is still in production. We will see a conclusion to this story. However, I just need a little break from it. I've been working on this series for three years now, and I need to shake things up. Project B has been taking up a lot of space in my head. I can't seem to stop thinking about it. So I need to put a little time into that.
I'm still going to work on OtM, I'm not walking away from it for any period of time. I might just focus a little more time on other things for a few weeks while I clear my head. It's a sort of vacation. I need to spend a bit of time on other things so that I can recharge my Rose Garden batteries.
This means that I'll probably have a short preview of Project B in the next release of OtM so you guys can try it, tell me what you think, and give me feedback.
I want to hear from you guys though. How do you all feel about this? Have I been too much of a drama queen lately? #tempertantrum

Hmm. A game completely focused around one semi-niche fetish is a bold move. I personally have no problem with cuckquean content so I'll happily give it a try but I think it's weird that the story is from the cuckquean's perspective instead of the male character's POV. As a male myself I feel like it would be easier to put myself in the place of the male LI rather than the girlfriend. I guess we'll see, if it actually has a good story and isn't just a cuckquean fuckfest it might work out? Since I've mostly liked Lockheart's writing I'm optimistically skeptical, this story setup from someone I didn't respect as a writer might just turn me right away but since it's him I'll give it a shot.

My guess is MC will be a bisexual woman, either bringing other bisexual women to the male LI, helping supposedly straight women to find out about bisexuality and/or luring supposedly lesbian women to then helping them findng out about their bisexuality. Either way, I don't think it's gonna be pure cuck stuff, and there will be several group sex scenes and sapphic sex. Also, this may appeal to a female audience, like myself, since there are not many well-written AVNs out there with a sapphic plot. Most of the ones you find is just a male-gazed version of lesbian porn.
Don't get me wrong: I'm still doubtful, cause even though Lock is a very good writer, he is still a (supposedly) straight man, so he lacks the perspective of a sapphic woman. But I will also give him a chance, since I'm enjoying the Rose Garden trilogy.

I hope the dev pushes his subscribestar more. Honestly I'm shocked he lasted this long on Patreon when his games fly directly in the face of their wrongthink rules especially given the recent purge they underwent.

Every dev should be pushing their subscribestar more and every subscriber should sack up and make the move. Patreon has shown open hostility towards adult content, moreso with every passing year. People in this space continuing to rely on it are shackling themselves to a bomb that could explode in their face at any moment. The people running that shitshow could make the call at any moment to just ban adult content entirely and then everyone will be in panic crisis mode. Just make the shift now before they can fuck you over. I don't know why everyone is so intent on staying married to a company that openly hates their content.

I finally have a great progress report to showcase! Chapter 3 is indeed progressing quite well. I've finished the first four scenes, and the next two scenes are going to be sexy. The final scene, basketcase, will feature an emotional encounter between MC and Moon. Everything is progressing well!
I'll have a short, but engaging, demo of Project B in the next release. You'll be able to check it out from the main menu or start it from the outro in Chapter 3 of Over the Moon. Please give it a try. It would mean the world to me to get your feedback, and I'm making it as easy as possible to play.
I've also rendered out a new outfit for Suzi in the VARGs menu. It's not one of my favorite outfits, but it's interesting.
