Nooooooo, the stupid unreal engine bug again. My CPU can't handle this game if it is above 20 fps, It will reach in a freeze state while sound plays.Can only kill the process and hope i can lock my FPS below 20 and if. BEcause sometimes even that doesn't work.
The game overall can run well even on lowest but if the FPS goes too much or spikes even if i put a 30 FPS lock, it will freeze. I noticed that a lot in these unreal games.
However another game, had that problem but the developer fixed that and no longer freezes on me. So i bet it is something to do with FPS or Cpu related. And i know my PC can handle these games despite my weak CPU. it even runs Crime Boss Rockay city and doesn't freeze.

Doesn't seem like pregnancy is actually in the game but it is heavily implied. Then again I might not be far enough in to find it.

It is, you CAN get them pregnant (just repat sex, the chance increases) and they get a belly and even comment on "what you did" (fun fact, the first girl in the steam room - if you gether pregnant you can have sex with her again later. If you don't, you can't, you'll get different dialogue options), but the rest isn't implemented.


That said, I forgot to add: I cna't see S*** because of the censor, but there better be no balls on the futas (or an option for it)

This game is so unreliably jank, I've managed to softlock myself around 8 times in a span of 30 minutes

Oh and also ABUSING the typical unreal engine effects (ambient occlusion, SSR, bloom, LENS FLARES (its cinematic!!1!1!!1), motion blur, etc.

It's not cinematic, it's astigmatism. UE devs, get your eyes checked!

But like, the fault is not entirely on unreal engine itself (even tho apparently it lacks proper documentation on certain things like lumen and nanite), the fault is also on developers refusing to optimize their stupid games in the first place. After all the engine can the best thing ever created by man but if the hack developer doesn't do the proper research / optimize the code and assets then a lot of pc's are just going to go into a coma when trying to run said game.

It actually is engine's fault to a degree, because there's a lot of garbage options are turned on by default and official sources outright convince people they are good for you or performance, while they are categorically not.

Well, that just sounds like a good incentive to NOT use the engine if you ask me lol, if you cant trust official source who the shits can you trust?. The crackhead down the street?.

And honestly the models on this game look hideous so I have to wonder what's even so damn resource hungry in this thing, the models look like those blowup dolls from saints row 3 but with more polygons.
it looks like ass, and dear god if you lower the graphics setting it looks worse than a ps1 game.

I give up on this game until the update for optimization comes in. It is not clear how it can be played even if i mess it up. I escaped the main menu freeze but once the game starts when you finish creating your character. The game freezes again like it does in the menu. Wow, just wow. It seems i must go in the config or do some weird certain commands. It doesn't matter if i set it on low or high, it will always freeze.
Well, i have to stalk this game in hopes the optimization comes through.

I hate the Unreal engine and hate the lack of optimization even more, just for these reasons. Such good tools, but wasted potential.

I haven't been fond of the "uNrEal EnGeeN!" Yeah, it really is UNREAL just how dreadful it is most of the times, unity better since UE4 was released
The problems UE4 had are on 5 but worse since its more demanding (and with "new tech" that no one knows how to use aside from ""epik"")
but one thing hasn't changed for me between UE4 and UE5, they lack soul. Sometimes it looks and feels like it was made by an AI, I know this can happen with unity too but it has less "set and forget" presets / tools you have to work a BIT more with it.
Another thing I dislike about unreal engine is how obvious it is when its being used, again, they all look the same.

I played one here (queen's bullet I think) that does that, the files just do not exist, so If you want to turn your pc into a nuclear reactor then feel free to try that game out and enjoy the 5 fps slideshow, I suggest trying it out on winter too so you can have a homemade stove so you can cook a burger while the game struggles to even leave the menu screen.

to be honest, seeing such terribly made games makes me even more motivated to make my own and see why the optimization is always ignored. And i like PSX style of graphics, so i don't chase after graphics, but gameplay and immersion(and sound as well). i miss 90s and 2000s games
"Open Life" which is another unreal game, had this problem but the developer fixed that and i can play the game in Peace even with my weak PC. RIP gaming
