You are spending the final minutes in your favorite DMMO-RPG, YGGDRASIL before it shuts down for good at midnight.
However, when the time comes, nothing apparently happens.
Unable to log out, you are stuck in a world that looks similar to the game yet so much more realistic, especially the NPCs that begin to behave consciously...​

I've tried to understand the first one. Played few of the scenes and moved it to the "Play later - maybe" folder. Here it is, one year later and not even looked at that stuff yet. The narration is strange...

Overlord H Plus improves under any aspect of the previous game, which includes the writing, consistency of narration (Done in second person), and quality of life features.

If you have any suggestions/feedback or things you'd like to see improved, do let me know and I'll try my best to improve the game, if possible.

My only suggestion. Give us the option to let Ainz KEEP his humanity instead of it whitling away like the last one and the manga/anime.....so basically writing improvements? Like instead of feeding into Demierges delusions of grandure out of fear give us the option to be frank with him. IE (I dont care about ruling. I just want to find my friends.) or something to that effect. Maybe give us the chance to change all of their alignments over the course of the game. Thats all a stupidly large order I know but it would be nice to see Ainz at least retaining the humanity he had very near the beginning of the anime. Beyond the writing I thought it was an ok game. A bit rushed in the end but damn decent.

By humanity you mean being good? If so, the protagonist as human is not really a "good" person by our definition, due to the fact he grew up in a very dystopian world. That being said, the original game still offered many good choices (Albedo's confession, sparring some characters and housing them, building a family, etc.) and this game will be offering even more choices, both evil and good. It won't per se make the protagonist a hero, but you can choose the lesser evil option to get things done as the story progresses.

By humanity you mean being good? If so, the protagonist as human is not really a "good" person by our definition, due to the fact he grew up in a very dystopian world. I feel like people often misinterpret what I mean when I say good. Because im generally VERY blunt. When I personally think of someone as good I think objective good rather than subjective. To me good is good and evil is evil no subtext needed. Especially in cases like Ainz. When I think of someone as humane I think of them as good. Take him for instance. He's got VASTLY more than enough power to do things bloodlessly and painlessly. And even using magic punish people like Clementine by forcing her to become good over a complete psychopathic monster. If she were at least doing what she does for her country then that would be a slightly different matter to me but she doesnt. She at least from my perspective couldnt give a flying pig turd if her country dies she just likes killing people for giggles and shits. As for your last statement I REALLY hope when you say lesser evil option you mean bloodlessly subjugating a town/city/country/etc instead of doing it by uh.....summoning lovecraftian monsters using the corpses of foot soldiers you just effortlessly slaughtered yourself to effortlessly slaughter hundreds of thousands more. Or something like healing someone with a fatal wound/ resurrecting someone over mercy killing them because when you have. You know. WORLD RESHAPING MAGIC. Doing things in an objectively good way tends to become vastly easier than just being a monster.

WOO that was a wall of text and most of it is probably nonsense to 99% of more normal people anyway. Hope I at least made some kind of sense and wasnt too shitty about anything. Good luck with the game btw. Even if it turns out its not for me I hope it goes well.

amusingly enough the alternate timeline spinoff made it clear that him losing his humanity was less him being turned into a lich and more being put in a position of power surrounded by morally bankrupt sycophants since he kept being a mostly morally upright person there, so him becoming what he became was more him going down the slippery slope and the NPC's influence
or in other words, it'd be impossible for it to happen in the game unless winterfire just straight up writes a fanfic
