Nevermind I am a moron it turns out all you have to do is turn DEBUG MODE on using the save editor of your choice and she returns.

what should i do for issues like this for playing using joiplay in Android?
it says many of files are missing, 'Title.png', 'TileA.png', .... etc.

If it doesn't work it doesn't work. Ask the developers of joiplay to fix the emulator or play on PC as intended.
Has anyone figured out how to get the bat girl all these years later? Like, I just can't find her.

Go to the temple island. Keep going to the 4th room.
In 4th room, top right hall .... go right...
Go down this ladder
Bat girl is here
You can only "find" the ladder by stepping left... then right and clicking

Dunno if you still have the issue (you probably solved it by now). Bet you pressed CTRL, which hid whatever dialogue box was shown.
Did he ever do what ever sequel he intended? I mean, the end of the game is a pretty clear sequel hook if you ask me.
