It's already been reduced by about a third, since the update came out. We just haven't seen it yet

The first version of Chapter 1 is really close to completion. I've already divided it into sequences and I'm currently working on the 11th one. The entire chapter will most likely have 20 sequences, and I'm planning to release the new version after either the 12th or 13th sequence is done.

I'm not making any promises, but my goal is to release a new version every two months. That way, I can deliver at least two chapters every year. It might not sound like a lot, but considering each chapter will have 2000+ renders, I think it's pretty decent. Those numbers may increase as I pick up my pace, so perhaps each chapter could have around 2500+ renders.

Wth 4 000 render a year? for a futa game? with consisten bi-montly releases?
Color me surprised, If this guy plays his cards well Even though his game might not be the best.
He prbbly will be the most popular futa game. Especially if he plays his cards well. Why?
Bc the current biggest futa games currently release an update every 6 to 8 months (if not more smt) for approximately 2000 renders.
This dev would be providing the same amount of content a year if not more while providing for those who are not fans of yearly updates.
If he can truly achieve that, I sincerly believe his game will be the most popular futa game. Ig he only need to calm down a bit with proportions lol

I mean, if he's telling the truth, then he'd be the fastest working dev on the site pretty much if he keeps this level of visual fidelity with that update speed.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I more see it as an objective than telling the truth or lying since they are starting and would not hold it against them if they can't hold up since it's ambitious. Being ambitious is not a bad thing by the way. It just mean that as a consumer we must temper our expectations. A simple computer malfunction or overambitious vision for a scene could easily throw that off without talking about personal matters. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they manage to keep up over time. I honestly expect only half of that and the rest is a bonus.

If they can't keep up accusing the dev of lying is a bit much I feel. Saying that they where overly ambitious is more reasonable at this time. They still have their reputation to build and maintain before such statement could be taken as facts.

You're right, I did word it poorly, I blame it on having just woken up.
There's also a case of being overly ambitious and running into burnout once they realize that they can't live up to the standards they set themselves, so it's very much a double-edged sword.

Nonetheless, we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Maybe he/she is a prodigy at rendering and can get them out in that time, like Kind Nightmares, which is a monster at releasing updates in a very short time, a feat rarely seen.

Although I would like to wait a while to play it, I think it will be difficult to refrain.

Could be a possibility, though I'd say Kind Nightmares is in a league of his own, probably my favourite dev and my favourite game.

If the dev is able to churn out consistent updates in a fairly decent pace, I can see this game taking off hard.

There are other games with normal size you can play too, and btw, this type of size exists IRL. Obviously not common, but they exist too.
