It means he wasn't going to do it. He just wanted some attention
That doesn't matter less to me and less attention, I'm a humble follower here. in fact a friend shared the link with me but it would be wrong to do so since in future updates the creator can become stingy and increase the waiting time for the new version for the public and it can screw us all a little, plus tomorrow the new version comes out better wait or you can write to me and I'll send you the link.

The same nonsense as before. Why say in the first place that it's possible you'll share it if from the beginning you knew you weren't going to?

And now the same thing again. Why the whole "send me a message" thing? If you were really going to send me the link, you could have just sent it without any further explanation.

this moralizing really gets on my nerves. this is a piracy forum. nowadays, there's hardly a thread where people aren't getting attacked for asking about updates. i understand that if a developer is doing a good job, you want to support them, so go ahead and do that, but stop attacking those who can't or don't want to do so for various reasons.

this has been building up inside me for a long time and i just had to get it off my chest.

oh, and before i forget: we need a hero. :KEK:

Finally someone says it. Now most piracy sites are just people bitching about how bad pirating is

It is incredible that version 0.6, if it was already free, is now charging Posted for $5, $10, $20, $35 tiers, it seems a shame to me and that it only leaves the demo version free

I know fighting piracy is basically impossible, and honestly? Even if I could stop it, I don't think I'd want to. That might sound weird coming from someone trying to make a living off their work, but I'll explain it.

I'm aware that not everyone is in a position to support developers financially. Maybe they're a student, maybe they're going through a rough patch, maybe they live somewhere where the exchange rate makes even a low price tag feel like a lot. Life happens, and I'm not here to judge anyone's circumstances.

All I ask is: respect the 7 day early access window for my supporters. After those seven days, I'll update the links myself. (In this case, I'm already updating the links. It should be ready soon.)

I'd be a hypocrite if I pretended piracy was pure evil. Some of my favorite games, the ones that genuinely inspired me and shaped my taste, I first discovered through pirated copies. I wasn't in a position to afford them at the time, and without that access, I might never have found them at all. So in a way, I wouldn't even be making this game if piracy didn't exist.

Not to be overly pendantic, but technically a supporter sharing the update wouldn't be piracy. The only way sites like SS and Patreon work legally is that your supporters are not technically paying for access to a product; they are paying for access to your page, and that page has whatever content you choose to share with them for free. So technically, them sharing the free product with other people for free without license is not piracy.

The only way it would be piracy is if you assigned each individual subscriber a key, and that key provided them individual access to the product with a license, and them sharing the key in addition to the product would be a violation of the terms of access to the license. If you were selling access to a product, these sites would be subject to much more regulation, and the costs would be more onerous both for them and you.

You own the rights to your work, but you are technically sharing the works for free via a link that can be accessed by paying for access to your page. You don't have the right to limit distribution of the work behind that link since you provide it freely in the first place, as long as the parties granting access do not attempt to claim the work as their own or license/collect payment for it illegally themselves.

Edit: Fixes the gallery showing incorrect number of scenes in some cases and errors after naming the main character. If you've installed the mod correctly and still get errors then restarting the game should fix it

Made a multi mod for this game

Features:
  • Added option to rename the main character (Either when starting the game or you'll be asked only once on loading a save)
  • Added an "unlock all" button to the gallery
  • Edited the gallery so you can access it from the menu without having to go back to the main menu

I just wanted to check, is this a visual novel where I can make choices or is it a kinetic novel?
