I think feedback should be heard from their patreons and from ppl that are on their game's discord or shit like this. Sunk cost fallacy is a really big issue. Buyers remorse is a thing that everyone experiences, but the sunk cost fallacy is far more common. Why do you think games like Halfway House still have just as much support today as they did when they were releasing actual content? And that despite pissing off a large portion of the subscriber base on Patreon by increasing the price to get the game. SirD's loooong abandoned game still has a Patreon page that earns him a not-insignificant amount of money from people HOPING he'll go back to it after him stating he's not likely going to touch it again, and if he does, it's years down the road.
