The dev should have focused on story rather than interactive sex scenes, MANY time going back to fix something and art.

There is a reason why most play games rather then just watching porn, mainly plot, of course without the art it won't be game but the focus is second there are games like that (top of my mind superhuman, pale carnation etc), and this game has so much potential BUT the dev is clearly getting fatigued because you guessed it LONG development time which again is the reason is the dev trying to add better art, interactive sex, improving art rather than focusing on the main thing

(Sigh) This was one of my favourite games and now i doubt it will ever be completed (wah, screaming, crying, sobbing in a corner)

I love your faith in me, but I must admit it, I earned it.

I abandoned this game 3-4 years ago because I was not able to finish it, there were many too bugs, but especially the main reason why I did it's because the main language of this game is SPANISH. That made it imposible to advance, since everytime I had to made an update I had to stop the programming part for 15days to let the translators do their job while Iwas doing other stuff, like the art, but that mad the whole process a nightmare to advance properly. That and the huge amount of bugs I had it made ita nightmare after 6 years of development.

So I moved on working on another project with the main language as English and that advanced well enough, but sadly, didn't got much attention. I bet very few of any of who are following this game know about that one at all. I'm not sure why it failed, maybe it was not good enough, maybe I didn't reach enough people, maybe receiving a 1 star review in itchio every 2 days for 2 years didn't help much (All because the person who used I guess these bots ordered me to make the skin of the protagonist more white and not so dark).

So I did something entirely different since that one was not working at all. I made a prequel of Pact with a Witch called Secret Glory Hole.

Why am I back to Pact with a Witch? well, I have to be honest, AI changed the rules. Not just for translation, but also for programming, and even for drawing some backgrounds, I'm still resillent to use it in characters, but who knows in the future? My plan is to TRY to finish Pact with a Witch, even if it's just with text or even with SKETCHES, not sure how far I will get this 2026, as some of you had said, there are many paths yet to be finished, and that also means a lot of art to be done and programmed. But I learned quite a lot these last years and I'm optimistic (maybe delusional), but I will try my best.

Who knows? YOu may not dislike them. (Secret Glory Hole is 26k words, so it's shorter and that's why I was able to finish it in less than 2 years, also it has 12 languages and has voice acting).

I want to see how far I get to Pact with a Witch this year trying to work on it FullTime.

I'm gonna be honest(i always am, but i don't know how to start my comment XD), i was one of those who worshipped this game, it was the highlight of the month/week/day when the new update got released, but i'm also one of those who expect that before going forward with a story, you finish what's incomplete(i criticized the same thing in my review of "A Town Uncovered", i'm not discriminating you or your game, but also not showing you any favouritism, it wouldn't be fair).

Sure, who am i to talk, i mean i don't even pay for the game, and i get it for free on this website, it's rude for me to be this awful, but at the same time...you delivered multiple times, an incomplete, flawed product while keep going forward, sometimes giving me the sense that you don't play your own game(which i think it's a mandatory part of the developing process).

I want this game to be good? YES! I'm tired of hating things that i used to like/love, that's where my criticism come from.

I don't even want to criticize the characters, but some of them(Neus in particular) really breaks the plot, like Neus being mad at MC for killing Txell, when she is a murderer since Day Zero or Day Minus One(as she killed a child in cold blood in a ritual for magic powers), at least(as far as i recall) in one of the routes, MC kills Txell in a fit of rage, it was passionate, a burst of emotions, Neus kills a kid just because she doesn't have the courage to talk to MC...it's stupid.

wish there was a path to just focus on our hot orange chito and convince :devilish: him to stay like that true love, lust or pregnancy, i don't care about the others

Personnaly i wish we could have more of Meritxell. The interaction with her and the MC was interresting. I really wonder how the MC could dominate her?

What could REALLY be interesting would be more of the MC with really good morality, this would make a lot a contrast with the darkness of the story. Could he still keep his moral compass or become like his father?

outside the "MC kills txell"-route, there is a route where MC is morally corrupt? Considering the route i just mentioned, wouldn't be a dealbreaker for Neus who apparently loves MC because he is just a normal guy(which is something abnormal to her, as she was born and grew in a cult that worship a demon, who fucks, kills and eat people for fun?), which is why i consider Neus such a hypocrite: for someone who escaped the cult, she still sticks to her "family's traditions" and just for the sake of having MC approaching her first...

Hello there

Found this gem of a game just yesturday and looks like I'm lucky enough to miss all the painful waiting for several years haha

I absolutely love how dark and twisted this game is. How it goes from"fuck your gender-bender buddy" (which I'm not fan of, but as sub quest it's like a cat is fine too or so to speak) to paranormal nightmare show. And all that with keeping interesting plot and main characters

Really excited about next update, thank you for bringing this game back lo life!
