Painful unfinished projects

I open this thread to remember all those fallen friends in battle, in a desperate way of make the developers REMEMBER, what they leave behind once they take the decision to abandon a project.
This is not a thread to accuse developers for milking their patrons (such an evil creature), but to pay homenage to those great games who stayed on the way, and why is it too painful for you guys to remember
I start:

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

Thousands of abandoned projects, and he picks a completed one as an example.
And among those thousands, there's some that are really and deeply missed, like Love and Submission, My Sweet Neighbors or The Gift reloaded, by example. Or, personal take, Jessie: Mother's sins.

But can someone who's member since only few months, really miss a game ?
It need time to build an intimate relation with a story, and it need this intimate relation to feel that something will be missing when the game is abandoned. This while it need to have played many games to starts noticing that, months later, you're still missing this particular one, while you totally forgot that the others existed.

Love and Submission and Connected.

L&S especially, and I'm surprised no developer really saw the potential in some of the concepts and tried to build his own game around them. It'd actually be fairly simple to write that kind of story, which appealed to so many users.

Love and Submission like pretty much everybody else has mentioned already. I feel like that's the only one that I played right when it came out that's been abandoned that I really genuinely miss for both the plot and the smut. Plenty of others that have come and gone that have been replaced or overtaken by very similar projects. Love and Submission always comes to mind.

I will probably remember a few of the game's faces and plots even when I'm 60, as weird as that sounds.

Sculptor [v0.13.0] [Discarded Union]

Because it's a painful loss, not because I think the dev would or necessarily should come back to it, given that the dev apparently dropped it as a result of illness not out of boredom or lack of interest in continuing.

Hourglass [v0.24] [HuntaMann]

It had a fairly unique artstyle and was pretty interesting in my opinion, the dev has expressed interest in coming back to it but nothing has come of it.

A Trainer's Tale [Ch. 2 v0.2] [BlueDelphinus]

Great art, good UI, and what seemed like a fun easy to develop setting, was really looking forward to seeing how it turned out, but the dev just kinda disappeared one day.

Not actually sure if these two are abandoned or not the forums say both yes and no, they might just be super slow to update (I think I've seen the abandoned tag on them at certain points in the past, they currently don't have it though)
