Sure, they unlock unique choices, they're clearly marked when you get the chance to use them.
There is a small typo in extras.rpy, line 268 (open with proper texteditor like Notepad++ on windows), generating an error for me when opening the jukebox in the leisure room.

Game is not really divided on routes so far. Edwin can choose who he wants to have sex with without issue. But only the devs know about the future.

Veronica and Hana are top tier in my opinion. Strong and interesting. Gaining their respect/affection is worth the effort. Maybe Felicia too, but she's still an enigma.
Mina seems a bit dumb (maybe just really sheltered I guess), but she's ok. I like that Hana wants to bully her a bit.
Rosalind ... I'm not sure there's much that can be done to make her more appealing. She's attractive but kind of mousy so gets overshadowed.
Maybe there could be a flamethrower route. Feels like the game could use an old school porn ending where the den of iniquity is destroyed, even if it's not canonical. MC teams up with a couple of the girls and burns that place down!

I actually see lots of potential in her story. Especially the comparisons that could be drawn with Rosalind's and Victoria's situation could become pretty interesting and/or morally challenging for MC.
(just thoughts about Rosalinds story so far in spoilers)
I think, for example, that MC is in turmoil with himself trying to figure out if he wants to help Rosalind to not have to do the things his mother did to get by... or to satisfy his own carnal desires.
I personally find that thought pretty interesting! Although, I feel the need to reiterate that the other characters defintely have things going for them in their storyline as well; all of them are just really good!
For fucks sake, man! We are all perverts here and no kink shaming but still there are lines we do not cross...

I really don't mind about hand holding if a whip and anal insertion are involved.
I love this work made me fall in love with these characters knowing they are risking it all for personal game through sex work. That is the sad part which I found is that you actually fall for these women knowing the environment. An example is Rosalind which is like a throwback to the MC's Mom who had no one to lookout for her while we are looking out for her (Rosalind fans). Not shitting on the sex work industry, but under kathleen you just know that even with graduating, these girls will have a rough time with sadistic and weird sex clients especially when you come to love some of these ambitious women. I'm ready to have a pensive moment haha Keep up the good work.

I just realized you see someone who looks a lot like Dalia when you start up the game; three pictures of what I presume are previous Carnations.
EDIT Nevermind, Dalia's mole is below her lips on her left side and does not have green eyes. Would've been a nice little window into her backstory, though.
