In order to contain the moods/anxiety, should you or someone who is already playing the update, tell you which girls are getting obscene scenes this time?

That's almost victim-blaming. Dark patterns are called that for a reason, they're there because people who came up with them know human psyche and know how to manipulate it.
Likewise you could argue the contrary and say that you are patronizing people cause you know better than them how to spend their money.

I support 6 games even on off-release months because I enjoy the community around them, the discords, the fact that I can have access to chat with people with the same kinks gathered around the same place and because the devs are great people.

I don't feel like being swindled cause I don't consider that "nothing". By contrast, I never subscribe to access all games from someone like Paradox because all I'm interested in is the HoI4 singleplayer and I don't need to give them funding on a monthly basis. So I just buy it once and play.

It's fine to pirate and be on f95. It creates traffic and marketing. But it's also fine to support devs on Patreon. Neither model is inherently bad cause people have agency to decide what to do. So I would use the vitriol sparingly imho.

Nah, feel free to do whatever you want, of course. I'm just saying that there should be baseline value that's provided. If you want to do something on top of that - great!

, and believe it or not, the number of people who will impulse buy an early release because they're looking to goon on a weekend and can't find it free isn't zero. Even if it's just 4-5 people over the course of a day... that's not insignificant to us and I'm grateful we've made it this far without anyone spilling the beans.
Okay now it makes so much of sense. This is news to me and this is what the missing piece of information that I genuinely didn't understand. I never thought people would want to buy an update (while you can obviously get it for free or through the public release). I thought to myself that everybody who donate money, do so because they genuinely want to support the creator for the work that they do. So now there is obviously an added advantage to delaying the public release for the devs. Honestly, in my view, updates should release when they are ready. For everybody. And everyone who with what they can support the dev should do so. Maybe I am a moron. But this is what I feel. But thanks for being so candid about it.

And so have a lot of other people, a few hours, to a few more days isn't going to make your pecker fall off

It literally tells you when the release comes out for each tier, not sure how when it tells you right front and center...
why do you need to be condescending? :KEK: when i already stated i agreed the update shouldn't be leaked.i was just explaining how some people are expecting it since a long time.we are all fans of the game we like the game for different reasons.PLUS that's very insulting towards TD 's + GIL3D's work and everyone who worked towars making this game possible since he views it as more than a porn game, you (SonsOfLiberty) suggesting it's only about pecker pleasing. The dev put a lot effort into the storywriting, art and direction unlike some devs.He makes it with passion. That's why people like me take our long wait and endure it.I feel as frustated and as eager for the update at the same time.Besides i won't freeload i will still pay the update even IF leaked.what i am worried about is if i pay the highest tier will i place unrealistic expectations and think about my own wishes rather enjoying the experience, the game, the story because rosalind, victoria and felicia are peak that's just my own opinion.:p
"What do adult games, porn games, mean to me?

For most people, even among those that play them, that is (rightfully) a question to laugh at. Placing any kind of importance on what are mostly badly written, poorly conceived, jerk-off-and-forget-about-them games is absurd and to imbue them with even a sliver of meaning is cringe-worthy.

Yet, they mean so much to me. So much that I want to put those feelings in words and share my passion for them."

I'm extremely grateful to all the people who subscribe to the authors patreons on the games I like. It's through you guys that the authors can dedicate more time (and sometimes make it their job) to give us updates. Without patrons, projects are likely to take forever or even stop altogether. And if that means waiting for something to drop with all the other brokies, so be it.

people said the same thing about Onlyfans and porn look how it makes money now.you missed the point.that's because people also want their own pin-ups and also want their starlets even if sometimes it's a wish version.everyone wants their own little marylin monroe in some sense.
plus the difference with porn is that it's A GAME too with a story and a plot,a gameplay even if small,it all needs work that most people wouldn't put it or don't have the ability/will to put it in.
plus unlike some AAA companies it doesn't exploit you and grab your money to recycle the same version for 10 years without changing the dates sometimes lol:LOL:
