Number two - What's the name of the BGM playing in the pork chops cooking scene? I could swear I heard it before, like, decades ago, but that's just me being senile, right?

If you "fell in love with Rosalind", don't treat her like a sex object during dinner, it won't get you anywhere. Watch her reaction after your answers. And don't forget that she likes reading romance novels, it will help you.
This is what I would advise if you want to open the scene after dinner yourself.

You need to choose the correct dialogue options while you have dinner with her, a bit of trial and error is enough for that.

Litterally reading the room as much as I can, for example the wine I don't take the inuedo option but just savor it, when she speaks about her I usually listen or take what's best, for the field of flower I didn't break the mood with the flower on the table, those kind of things... So honestly I'm kinda lost x) The only straight forward choice I did with her is when she talks about remarrying.

I think this is one of the precious few games that is has a very solid enticing story that merge armonically with sex. Even other very good games, like, just to say, a game about post apocaliptic roaming in the Sahara desert that i really love, doesn't menage to archieve that. Usually all those crime stories with the superchad former military/cop and stuff just feel like stories where sex is filler that overstood it's welcome. I have hard time thinking to more then 1 or 2 titles which could do the same.

Well, that attempt at irony has backfired rather badly, because the confusion it produced aside, it makes even less sense Victoria would be doing porn flicks at behest of someone who was pretty much a stranger to her, with two degrees of separation and little to no personal contact.


Edwin was a kid in middle school when he's done his backstory things. What trouble with the police? Any and all legal liability for his actions was on his mother. Furthermore, the Carnation club only exists for 4 years or so. There's no reason to believe Chuck would have any real pull with local police and/or school board to speak of at the time Edwin was having his episode. These people only become members of the club some good half decade later, maybe even more.

When Chuck want's something he will go after it. Relentlessly. Just look at his chess games with Sophia. Leverage just makes it easier.

No law expert, so I dunno who would be liable in the end, but either way Vicky might face custody issues. Not something she wants to deal with.

A police investigation is specifically mentioned in conjuction with the backstory choice, not sure about the bully stoning incident.
Wouldn't be surprised if the bullie's parents at least threatened police involvement.

You think Kat, August and Chuck founded the club and started screening for members afterwards? Or just invite random rich people to join?
Chuck is basically a local celibrity, with enough money to throw around that everyone wants to be his friend and a reputation that dissuades people from becoming his enemy.
He is also a long time friend of Kathleen, who's married to a judge.
You really think he doesn't have a network prior to starting the club?

Not like he needs much pull anyways. Edwin's fuck-ups are minor from the police's perspective. Easy to drop such an investigation if a powerful man reassure's them it's unnecessary.
However, from Victoria's pov the consequences of those investigation could be horrendous. Better to do everything in her power to stop them.

And I have the feeling that our Mutt&Jeff bros are smiling while reading our comments.

The Authors are cleary scattering "false flags" all over while they're telling their story: Edwin is simply asking himself: "WTF is happening right now?" and... sometimes we exactly know as much as he knows, and sometimes we know something more because we're seeing scenes where our MC is not there. (I hope I've explained well what I mean)

Just think about the whole Darius-Isla affair - we were speculating about their whereabouts and fate. I honestly thought that August might have disposed of Isla.

Now we know that she is simply working for Donovan. So, I was totally wrong, and the reason is simple: Donovan has been introduced in this update only. I simply didn't know about HIM.

So, the naked truth is that you/we simply have to wait until the next update and the morning after, where most likely Victoria is going to tell Edwin (and Ian if his friendship score is high and Edwin told Ian about Vic's past) what Grace exactly told her.

Nothing more, nothing less.

And we still don't know a lot of things, just like Edwin doesn't know a lot of things:

we still don't know about Darius, we still don't know why Abel visited Edwin and we still don't know the reason why Edwin's apartment was bugged.

Most of all, we still don't know what Kathleen has in store for the Carnations and how Felicia's husband fits into it.

Some questions i have that could potentionally drag on forever are, can Mina get back to Ian, what will happen with Mina after the party, she met a lot of people, what the hell are her kinks or secret list, will we ever finally find out. With Hana i have a general idea what to expect, but Mina is so unknown, especially this update.

You've just told the naked truth: 99,999999999% of Adult Visual Novels are a complete failure.

They're supposed to be erotic fiction and they fail both as erotic and as fiction.

So far we only have Donovan's word to go with that Isla is alive, whether it's really the case remains to be seen. For all we know it was the last chance Edwin got before he too would become a problem if he wouldn't have bought that story and still investigated. Or it could be that he was telling the truth but Isla is scared shitless after Chuck/August/Warren/Otto had a conversation with her while her beloved Darius got a much, much worse fate.

In this update it's literally stated that Oliver is killed off-screen (if we went with August) and let's not forget that vault they conduct human experiments in PC club is still a mystery so everything is still very much on the table. Especially since Edwin was specifically called in by a pimp/gangster-friend so that he could be interrogated. He didn't buy the "I found the love letters" crap and still wanted to get a read on Edwin while face to face (which is suspicious and contrary to what you're saying, there aren't (m)any false flags/red herrings here, TD is too good of a writer for these).

On a side note, Edwin's conversation with Donovan was really intense (also thanks to GIL's superb facial expressions and posing) and it's scenes like these ones that make this VN the best porn game there is. I wasn't sure what TD would go for here and almost every scenario seemed plausible.

P.S.
Depending on whether credit's image is fanart or canon Donovon might have lied at least once during the conversation saying he never met Chuck (unlikely Veronica would meet Augey and Chuck but Don would be nowhere in sight, although it is possible so who knows).

I'm guessing we as players will decide how it will turn out. If we will be bros to Ian and not pursue Mina ourselves it's very likely that Mina will go back to her ex. This is what Mina had to say about Ian:

"I like that Ian can still surprise me. He's goofy and it's almost like he's stumbling through life with blinders on, but sometimes he blindly walks into making a girl feel special"

She was pretty shaken-up for a reason after their break-up.

Now that she will have her "revenge" and that Ian will make an effort (his apology is the first step, although it depends on us whether we will help or not) I'm pretty sure it will be one of available endings.

Hey, I tried to find an existing post with this problem, but couldn't find one. So I'm just asking now.

In full screen mode, the interface reacts slowly and the animations aren't smooth either, only in windowed mode does everything work as it should. I also use the Shawn's Walkthrough Mod. I've played a lot of AVN with animations and never had such problems. Can anyone help me solve this or tell me what the problem could be?
