Pejoratively yes, because she's disgusted and/or annoyed by her but I wouldn't say that she used that word so that Vicky would do what she wanted. That's what blackmail was for.

Anyway, saying that she's doing it for herself/for appearances is overinterpretation. I would argue that wanting her son to be more responsible and successful is a sign of more caring about him than Victoria's hedonistic approach where she says "let him have fun while he's young". That's easy for her to say when she has a successful and intelligent son who's to become a doctor while Grace's son wastes his time on whores/sluts with some photography on top. What mother (who isn't a whore) would like her son to be a leech/parasite that thinks about sex only?

If she really was the person you claim she is, she would have never allowed Ian to go to a public school (imagine what other snobs would say when they would learn Grace's son wouldn't get best education available) or for Ian to be friends with Edwin or for Edwin to come with them on vacations or for letting Victoria a whore to come to Thanksgiving even though she clearly despised her (the answer here is obvious, Ian asked her to invite Victoria so she did because she loves his son). Nothing adds up here unless we assume that she loves her son (she even says so and I see no reason to doubt that considering the above).

Grace had plenty of chances to tell Victoria what she thought about her but she didn't until she felt she had no choice. She was amicable the whole time when talking to her except for that one outburst (but she quickly recovered herself and became calm again) which I interpret as a sign of love (maybe warped but definitely love, she's clearly jealous of Victoria).

As for August, again it's overinterpretation. From where I stand it seems to me that August wants a successor and since he doesn't have the alternative (AFAWK) he went with Hana. He had appeared only recently ignoring her daughter most of her life. I'm not saying he's not genuinely pursuing her affection (he obviously is and he cares about her) but that "entire game" that you mentioned is what...? A year + 3 weeks (at best since we don't know when his pursuit started)? Meanwhile Grace cared for her son his entire life, that it wasn't what Ian wanted is irrelevant.

Not to mention that if letting your daughter work in the brothel dressed up like this is an affection of love then I have bad news for Hana:

Hmm that's possible, i didn't consider it. My Edwin's toughness is 18 which if am not mistaken gives him the "middle of the road/playful" dialogues.

Yes it's not black and white, there are nuances of grey. But calling Victoria a whore is an insult even though she might have been one (porn actresses are not really whores albeit similar), it was to demean her.

I was a bit annoyed MC couldn't give Ronnie a heads up about the coach, like he did with Fel and the painting.
I know there's some more longterm goal to try to help her, but after their night out together (regardless of which ending it took) it feels like they are close enough now that he should feel compelled to (or us at least have the choice over it).
While I personally am gonna try to do what I can to keep her in some way attached to the MC or the club, because I'm a greedy person I feel should at least get some transparancy.
Also why isn't MC keeping up at the gym. She's unexpectedly fought her way up to being joint first in this game of filth. We know how serious she takes working out, MC should be there as often as Mina to make a favourable impression.

Kath scene was great.
Funnily enough when she first said it was basically carte blanche my immediate instinct was to want to waterboard her. While the MC didn't go quite that far, it was close enough that I was pleasantly surprised. The only time she's ever let me down is when you're hooking up with her and Harper and she says you can finish inside because it'd be impossible to knock her up now - and she's smart enough to know that even if that's true, saying it takes all the value outta flooding her womb with seed. So I'd want to waterboard her until she lost all sense of self and would agree (even if she didn't come good on it) to pump herself full of fertility meds and try to let the MC make her heavy and swollen with child.
She was totally unrecognisable though. If I'd seen a render of her in that I would have never thought it was her but some just random new girl. I like her looking like cheap street meat, but I'd have preferred her to still be recognisable somehow. For as much as she mentions being old her body is that of a 20 year old too feels a bit off, not sure why it's not bothered me previously.
The "treat them like my last" - I wonder if that's foreboding for her retirement and a possibility of MC taking over the club somehow.

Glad to see we're finally pushing Mina into true lesbo stuff. While I like Ronnie too much to let her go, they are actually really good together - I think she needs that kind of Mina energy in her life. Not sure where the Mina/Hana flag was supposed to be set (maybe it's if she doesn't get with Ronnie) but interesting to see that opening up too.
Was weird of the MC to invite the carnations there, quite a messy situation, Mina isn't that dumb. Maybe now they can play it off as them all knowing each other from just that night... still was a surprisingly reckless thing to do.

Did I misunderstand things or did Killian's mother basically imply something had been going on between the MC's mother and Uncle Chuck in the past? If so, did we already know about that?

I wonder if Killian (if you tell him about the porn) goes straight home to search for it. I'm not sure which side of him would win out. I liked the way the scene with the porn guy in this was done, constantly semi-cutting into the MC's attention. Didn't give a hoot about the new porn girl who takes you to that dude. Bartender also got some action (though I'd prob play a different route)... would rather had some side action with someone already established than those 2 new random people - it was nice to see Harper popping up unexpectedly, for example.

That wife duties render of Fel was funny... though I guess it might have had to be like that to avoid ruffling feathers, still gave me a chuckle.

You could try editing the font size of the gui.rpy yourself, but that will likely have text run-off issues unless you alter a few other parameters. Our Diamond Member release tomorrow will feature some fixes in that regard, but who knows if that will get filtered down here.

You don't even need to do that... it's inbuilt into renpy... either 'a' or sometimes games make it 'shift+a' brings up the accessibility options where you can change the font to nice easy to read ones if a game is using "fun" ones and a slider to increase text sizes.

Only problem here is because all the text has been shoved down at the bottom it'll go off the screen if you increase the font too much (so it wraps onto new lines).

If you don't push Mina with Veronica and you are in a relationship with both Mina / Hana I think you can make them kiss each other that's what the flag is for.
Also of all the ppl discovering what we have going on in the club, Mina may be the one I am less worried about, she would be weirded out and concerned but would probably be understanding.

Well Chuck knew about Victoria maybe through that director we visited, I don't think she has ever directly had something with Chuck, otherwise I think se would have freaked out the moment she saw her son hanging out with him.
Of this conversation between Victoria and Grace Imo is when Grace says that Chuck tells her everything and that Chuck has taken us under his wing, I wonder if this will be used as blackmail against us at some point because it seems to imply she is up to date with everything in the club...

Honestly, disappointing update. No Hana, no Mina full scenes. There was 1 good Rosalind scene that I liked. The side girls are boring. From the unpacked images there seems to be a sub-Kathleen scene. And I have liked some of her scenes before. But this time it is ruined by her weird getup (of an older lady trying to look young , dont know why it was necessary...)

It was briefly considered, but there's a better time and place for it. It's a much bigger deal than Denise's painting, and would have immediate ramifications on the exhibition that I think Edwin would want to avoid.

Yeeeeeah, I had a big hang up about both the logic of the having the Carnation meeting there AND Hana inviting Ian (feels kinda tactless), but I could see Edwin being a bit devil may care about it since she already knows Felicia and maybe Veronica. It's not like he planned about talking club business in front of her.

In hindsight though, the scenario might feel less contrived if Edwin didn't know Mina was coming and inadvertently invited the Carnations. Him dealing with that might've been fun.

Andrea isn't new per se, she's had speaking lines before, but fair. She's had a middle of the pack presence when it's come to house girls. Still, that scene was largely a personal indulgance. GIL and I have actually wanted her to have a scene for a few years now, and there's been a couple updates where we almost pulled the trigger on it, but this ended up being the time and place.

Bartender was unexpected; GIL made a bunch of animations for her in her spare time for his own "personal enjoyment" (and to test out some new butt grab tech) and I figured we might as well use them.

You are right her outfit is the one thing I would have changed in retrospective (while it is crazy hot I prefer her classy clothing style). Still, the twintails are a very recognisable feature if you visited the devs discord before. There was a running gag on there of forcing this hairstyle on Kathleen at some point to increase her popularity. Looking too young for her age is a honey select issue as you might be aware. However, there are subtle signs of age if you are looking hard enough and I can appreciate the added effort GIL put into the models to bring out these distinctions (not an easy feat considering the limitations of the engine).

Yep. The street-walker thing was an audible. We were originally going to go with her body stocking look from the 5some scene (hottest she's ever looked IMO), but it presented some technical issues. Then I figured, hell let's make hagtails canon. That would be fun.
