I was wondering whether F95 cares that it's not the latest version being highlighted in here instead but I am guessing they don't or just choose to be hands-off, which is fair.

They don't really care, from what I know. The caveat is that as a 'thread owner' (you'll notice the original post is mine, which means I have edit priviliges to it) I can't revert the links if someone else updates them. Say I released this version (0.14) and someone else leaked the 1.0 final version, and they got uploaded here. In that case I can't just go "no, the ones I want out in the wild are 0.14" and delete the new links; if I did that they'd remove my editing priviliges.

Occasionally that goes wrong when someone leaks the Steam version (complete with Steam's DRM) and a bunch of people blame me because the game crashes on launch (because the first thing it does is link in the Steam SDK for achievements and stuff, and if it doesn't find it, it'll quit). That kinda sucks; it's one thing if people leak the Patreon standalone version (without the SteamSDK) before I wanted it out... at least in that case the players still have a happy experience. If they have a broken experience and blame me for something I have no control over, that kinda sucks.

Yeah if many people choose to pirate but don't know how to get a "properly" cracked version or circumvent the Steam SDK themselves, then a developer being involved in the thread definitely becomes an issue. But I still think your approach has more upsides than downsides and it's definitely much more effective than pretending such forums don't exist or going all out against any form of leaks.

0.14 isn't the final one, so... possible?

There's 2 more Scarlett scenes in 1.0.

As for final number of scenes, there's post-release content, same as PL1 (4 additional seasonal updates, and a total of 5 sex scenes).

I share both my own games (Love of Magic, Morningstar and Wings of Empire) here, and also talked the Flexible guys (where I'm a programmer/producer) into doing the same. So it's not 'the website' putting up the links, it's me uploading it myself as one of the devs.

Why am I doing this? Because I believe they're good games, and if enough people play them some will chose to support the developers so we can afford to make more games. Flexible media is a full-time team, with anumber of 2D artists that all expect to get paid every month, so we have to make money to afford to make more games.

As for why it is the previous version, not the one released yesterday? That's because asking for support is more likely to work if you've also got a carrot to give. So the carrot here is; here's another 2 hours+ of content to play, for free. We've also just launched another big chunk of content, and it's on sale right now; grab it at launch discount, and get more story, more sex scenes, and the conclusion to the Paradise Lust 2 storyline.

Girlfriend experience was released for the Steam Autumn Sale, Nov 28. I think it probably hit F95zone at the same time as our Winter Sale build, Dec 20 (Garden of Earthly Delights). Since then we've released The Hot Seat on Jan 30th, and Trouble in Paradise (Mar 4th).

I tried downloading it off the Discord but I still have the problem with the spank bank blocking out scenes I already unlocked. I tried using a different save file from the download and turning off the steam cloud and everything. But it just won't budge.



Is there anyway to get the full scenes again? Or do I have to start from scratch? Or do I need a full save with everything unlocked to fix the problem?

Did I get that right? it isn't that I wouldn't want to support the team behind this wonderful game, but rather my issue is the fact I cannot afford it. And I doubt I am the only one.

yes, they tend to release dlc after the main part of the game is completed and did so with other games they've produced. the team understands that some people can't afford to support them and aren't upset by it. they only ask for us to be respectful and patient in return.

as for Frankie, I was thinking he's a con artist considering how hard he pushes for certain things to be shut down all in the pursuit of the island going bankrupt making it easy to buy the island as a huge discount. I don't see Erik being the kind of guy to do this to mc because, while he has some quirks and faults, he's a nice enough guy and knows that if he does that, it affects Raven, his niece, who loves quite a bit and he wouldn't want to hurt her
