First and foremost, we've pretty much managed to gather up all the art for the Mika update, and, once we're done revamping some more technical stuff, we'll be trying to push out that update asap! In the meanwhile, we're gathering art as quickly as we can for the big steam release update next, it's probably never been a more exciting time for us, and hopefully you guys, to be fans of Parasite Black!
(WIP) Another scene of chaos from the second battle of Novaras (above).
More combat changes:
One thing we have done, is temporarily torn apart combat once more (don't worry, we'll be re-assembling it in short order!) In the hopes of reducing the lag and trying to make the combat feel much faster and more smooth. So far, the results have been very promising.
The default combat will now remove some of the combat animations and be slightly more in the vain of 'darkest dungeon' style - As you can see, combat is MUCH faster and smoother under the rework above. There will however, be a toggle option to bring back the 'full' animations should players still prefer that, (though this likely will cause lag as it has before).
We're still working on implementing the final skills, balancing and things, and we hope once again, people will be even more pleased with the changes to combat like in the last update.
Other things:
-The script for the steam update is well underway... So far, it's spicy and going very well
-We have additional tracks and things commissioned.
-Expect a lot more 'plot' very soon.
Anyway, that's all for now,
thank you guys so much for your support,
you guys are awesome and keep the team doing what we love best!
Love,
-The Damned Studios Team
Mika is incredibly excited to be trying out one of the new Alderian jawbreakers! Remember now! Don't try and swallow all your candy at once!
