Oh god, I wasn't sure if It was Ai at first and I was hopeful i wasn't. Ai slop is gonna hurt this game already with a few glaring issues. I mean why redo the art? That almost never works out well for most games. Like that Danny Phantom game (artist quit or left tho) and they redid all the previous artists scenes.

There's not any AI in the game yet. I haven't even looked at a single sample of AI to decide if it gets the pass or not. (And I've made it clear in a line-up, I expect it indistinguishable.)

The reason for Ai is silly too it is to avoid inconsistencies with artstyle better to have inconsistencies than use AI in your main game Also this game is always going through some problems.

Better than anything Ai tho side game with the famous adventurer gets better artist than the main game . People loved the art of this game.It used to look unique and to now have Ai art each time it gets downgraded it's just a sad state for such a cool concept and plot.First it was getting artists who draw everything too soft which looks out of place for the setting to now getting AI art.

The AI is literally, with permission, being fed art from the artist in question.
The artist who, otherwise, we'd likely have to fire if we didn't do this.

I already said I don't care about Ai being used in that sense you don't need to tell me about it I know you guys are supportive to artists what I really care about is Ai doesn't look as good .Ai. Art can look somewhat good but has the weird shine for some art style , regardless this game for the last 2 years have been always going through something artists always having problems and you guys supporting them which is noble but the game suffers and I honestly just don't trust Ai delivering good.I don't believe the game will look good enough with that.This game has one of the better settings and one of the best writing as you can choose to do be a hero or even a bad person or somewhere in between and the storylines are great too but the art part has been going downhill for this game,first the new artstyle chosen looked so soft that it felt it didn't even belong in the setting and now you will be adding AI.These are just my thoughts I honestly don't believe AI being good enough.

The game doesn't have any Ai right now that's just a different artist

As for the character art changing, the old character artist left, and while the new artist did have some early designs that weren't as detailed and as popular admittably, I feel they've improved significantly over time and broadly speaking, we get a good reception from the character art we produce now. (I am, however, always pushing my artists to improve and do better.)

This looks clean but Erika's armour/clothes looks like she is cosplaying even if you remove the hat,The new artist draw the faces fine but most of the time the clothes/armour look wrong too soft,too cosplay like.But yeah good luck to you guys.

I agree with you it had really cool art style . I understand to make it simpler to draw it over and over again for updates ,but I think currently it is to over-simplified and looks like AI made

My only real complaint about the art style, especially coming from the old art, is not even that it's bad but rather it's like the character busts got disneyfied a bit. Just with the dark tone of the game the style feels very much the opposite and makes it stick out in a sort of awkward way to me. Plus it being much different in the sex scenes too adds onto that feel. Consequence of multiple art styles I guess.

Not to stir the art complaint pot, comments are going to get much worse should this get the AI tag I'm sure. I'm one to complain about it but given it's going to be under heavy scrutiny I'm not as worried.

I have no problem with AI being used in this instance as the artist can not produce due to reasons well out of their control and they have the artists blessing to us AI to fulfill the needs of the game. I will ask however that the artist would be paid to back fill the scenes later (when/if they are able to return to the scene.). Either fully with a complete redrawing or much more modestly if they just do touch ups/edits (if they feel that it was close enough to their vision.)

I think AI is fine. Its a tool just like a paintbrush. That being said, IMO the worst offender in this game is the sex scenes being very different from the regular art. Its unfortunate that they went for a 3d-ish animated route, I think still images would be way better. Would you guys be able to make the animated art match the regular art more? Most girls just don't look as good in the animated ones.

It's literally made from the existing artists work with their blessing. Nothing has been *stolen.*
