I read the latest dev post from friday, but I keep up with multiple games and just check on them occasionally (especially in the case of this one where saves got broken regularly and there's a significant chunk of content I actively dislike and go out of my way to avoid, so I only check the thread maybe once every two or 3 months).
That said, last time I played the game (which has likely been a year or so ago) I remember thinking the writing was excellent and that the game, despite having a lot of content I want nothing to do with, still had excellent quality to the things that I appreciated all around. I would've played the game a lot more if not for the issues with saves (not trying to be annoying about as I imagine how rough it can be to keep saves intact as you change fundamental aspects of the game when improving it, but saves getting broken are a massive pain for most players and it certainly is for me)
So the dev log said that the update is coming around soon, which is great, but can someone more involved with the development of the game estimate if we're talking days, weeks or months away from a release?
As I understood it, next update will wrap up Act I, which I'm assuming is going to be the stopping point between whatever continuation the game has, and shouldn't have any more issues with saves from then onwards (at least in regards to Act I, since it'll be done).
I was going to download and replay the game today, but chose to wait after reading the dev post, to try and experience everything in one chunk. Could I get an estimate of when the next update is supposed to drop?
