She's an optional companion and optional romantic interest, but even if you aren't interested in the character romantically, its worth keeping them around as a companion to experience her story/quest(s).

I feel really sorry for you that you get so much shit for a furry NPC.^^ What is the big problem with that? It's a fantasy world where all the good or bad shit can happen. Only humans and monsters would be boring. Imo you guys do a nice job. Sure, some things can always be better but I like the little fluff.
I wouldn't mind to have more exotic women in the game. Dive deep into the possibilities fantasy games have to offer and don't miss on the freedom you can have with adding them. <3
