guys is there a time counter for quest reveals or am I missing something? I seem to exhaust all the quests, are all the map and locations void rn? Orc romance, blacksmith romance and streetfood women are the paths available as it seems.

Alderians news!

Hey guys,
Just touching base once again to let you know how progress is going. Things are going well here, still gathering some of the final assets but we're making good progress we think on all fronts.

A few important little things: We're currently doing some re-works on the prologue itself, (not changing the story or anything), but we'll be replacing some old art and things with a fresher more consistent style of paint, and reworking how these early sections play out > If you decide to give them a go with the latest build, don't be alarmed, everything is just wip.

We WILL be after this release spending some time to (hopefully) fully bring the last of the art up to a more consistent standard over the next month, including revamping some of the sex scenes in the prologue, (yes, combat still sucks > Yes, we will improve it).

One thing we have been waiting on, (and now recieved), is some animations for the future steam trailer, (I'll show them off in the discord > As I unfortunately can't post webms here), so HOPEFULLY, very soon you guys will be able to see the full steam trailer and wishlist the game!

Now, with all of that news, I have no doubt you're wondering when the release date for the next update is?
The planned approx release for the next update is the 7th-10th of March, (presuming there's no delays like last time).
And, that's really it for the news from now, thank you to everyone supporting us so far

including more fetishes increases more potential players, less fetishes = less potential players (but more potential loyal players, but this in itself is also not true, since u can also just loyal players from having lots well done fetishes, instead of just thrown in there)

that is literally the exact opposite of how it works.
the more fetishes you add, the less potential buyers you have.
people who would have fapped to your stuff before, now get turned off and leave

This will most likely continue to happen until the devs say they're done with changes that tend to break the game. They introduce new things (new skills, abilities, items, w/e), update / improve others (make combat more like they want it), and rework parts like the prologue. This latter thing is b/c they lost their original artist awhile ago. After finding a new artist, the art from the beginning of the game stopped matching up as well with art from later on.

TL;DR: They have said this is a work in progress, so it should be expected that saves break with new updates for some time still.

If you don't want to keep replaying it, I would suggest just to wait until they officially say they should no longer have changes that break old saves. Once that happens, you shouldn't need to worry about this anymore.

I would provide you with an updated save, but I'm so swamped with other work I can barely keep up with what other games I am already playing. I have made the personal decision to wait to replay this until either they say officially saves shouldn't break anymore or I am all caught up on my commitments and other games. Since that latter will probably never happen, I'll just bide my time. One major consolation for me (because I really love this game) is that when I finally feel I can play this again, I'll have tons of content to see.

Ye, I just tested after deleting all renpy/game saves. And it doesn't work for me anymore either. No idea how i got it to work in the first place oO
Anyway i tinkered some more, here's the second attempt, now I've tested it after deleting everything, and it seems to work.
Try it again. As before just put it in the ParasiteBlack\game folder
What I tested specifically was starting from Act 1, not from the beginning, I don't think it should matter, but history would suggest I don't quite get renpy...
Oh, and maybe delete the old file if you still have it in your game folder

Right-click the link for the file, and choose "Save link as..." (or "Save as..." or something similar) when the menu appears.

Is it possible to do more damage, get better weapons or level up? Its kinda annoying after killing over a 100s of monsters we are still as weak as our first battle.

Even our "battleform" isn't all that much stronger or durable in combat.
