Dude stop being a hypocrite. You are blowing the update thing out of proportion for both this game and the AAA ones (also pirates usually get the patches in a couple days for the AAA titles). Anyone who frequents this forum and has bought the steam version, has done so because he wanted to support the dev and probably plays the patreon version anyway.

And if you want a benefit for Steam players, they get new releases automatically without having to frequent shady sites and risk downloading some infected file. Pay up.

So like every other game that's on steam?You do know that the automatic updates ain't a game feature but a steam feature right? Also course they fucking get auto updates if they didn't that would mean either steam was broken or they had the configuration off.

I'll take a stab at it. We all have bills to pay. Game Devs too. No income stream, no game.

I dropped some cheddar on steam for installments of an Early Access porn game.

I knew I was going to have to wait. I have other games to play in the mean time.

My version of the game isn't infested with malware & I'm supporting a studio who is creating a deep sandbox game.

I'm grinding until I get 1,000,000 GP. Just to see what happens.

The combat is fun & the females are fuckable. This is my favorite western erotic game.

I bought the Early Access game & I'm content to wait. I have a massive Steam backlog to get through.

The people with more disposable income than me are beta testing the game for me.

Not sure if it's a bug, but I defeated Zanarak during the MC fight while everyone was up and standing, and then story mode kicks in, and it says objective failed. Is that intentional? edit: I'm guessing so based on what's happening, but the journal reacting negatively makes it a bit confusing.

I considered this but the tooltip is stuck at "85" no matter the stat difference and I'm very positive that accuracy buffs make a difference.

I've done a bit more digging on this and it looks like the game always sets your hit chance to 85% when your attack rating is equal to or higher than your enemies dodge rating. That's why it feels like you never see a number other than 85%.

I've done a bit more digging on this and it looks like the game always sets your hit chance to 85% when your attack rating is equal to or higher than your enemies dodge rating. That's why it feels like you never see a number other than 85%.

Indeed, I decided to decompile the code and the hit chance is capped between 15% and 85%.

So it seems that the reason I felt accuracy buffs were so important was because certain enemies like Thugs (which tend to attack in groups)have higher than average dodge, and the hit chance drops quite fast to 50-60% if the enemy dodge is 5-10 points higher than hit chance. Against targets with low dodge chance, they don't make any difference.

Tried to beat the Kraken with MC + Marcus + Ves + Kiara. It's definitely doable as long as you cycle through War Cry / Fiery Counter.

I tried the same today and I have to say that Kiara's Eagle Eye is insanely powerful. It even stacks with MC's Razor Slash, leaving Kraken with only 18 points of armor.

Good job. Yeah Eagle Eye on top of giving sizeable damage buffs on whole team, stacks -armor on target, which makes quite a big difference.

I checked the code for armor's effect. It scales quite aggressively.
20 armor reduces incoming damage by 40%
40 armor reduces incoming damage by 60%
60 armor reduces incoming damage by 75%

So.. I beat act 1 and realized I'm gonna have to wait a long while before I pick this game up again since a lot of Act 1 stuff isn't done. Starting developing act 2 before all of act 1 is... certainly one of the choices of all time

Finally after 2 days of attempt and lot of restart I finally turned Kraken into sushi

my strategi was like this team mc , Markus , Ves , Kiara

first round kiara's dance of death after , Ves Berserk time and MC Razor slash you will leave Kraken 8 point of armorer

and MC will deal from 400-700 Damage and after Markus kiara's it will deal something between 500 to 1200

Second round kiara's Eagle's eye , Ves Blood for blood god it will deal 300-500 damage, MC Acidic Brust it will deal something between 500-700 and After Markus kiara's

in next rounds repeat and go in guard if healing is block

P.S it depend on luck if all the effects applied on Kraken

It was hard, but as Soulslike fan I could not step down , Congratulations to everyone who as well beat it
