Played a bit of it, just to see.
I normally don't play early releases, but this ticked quite a few boxes.
It's very early stages, really more of a proof of concept at this point, but i did find a few things to suggest.
1. Video compression needs to be much higher, at almost 2GB for a initial release, and with content so limited, this will quickly balloon into a monster if you don't go ahead and get some compression in the mix. 3MB per vid clip will become unstable and inconvenient quickly with all those empty 'coming soon' slots.
See attached videos, one is 44% compressed, the other isn't. Especially considering you are using a windowed format in game, not full screening, there is basically no difference other than one is almost half the size of the other.
2.Asian girls. Needs more.
3. I see the exterior roaming, presumably, 'dungeon' type aspects are coming, so will reserve judgement. Likewise the 'Pyramids" which seems to be a puzzle solving scheme.
That said, a lot of people genuinely *HATE* puzzles, so either make them simple or otherwise make a crafting bypass, or you will earn a lot of un-fan mail.
4. Make sure there is a continuity with the girls, that will allow some level of immersion or connectivity with them, so that you actually care what happens. Right now, all the characters seem more like tools to be used, and when needed disposed of, rather than any sort of connection.
I get the whole scientific experiment thing, but the cold scientific eye and scrutiny aspect of the game is rather off-putting. Sex as a necessary mechanic of your day, with the same images repeating over and over as your daily grind gets tiring, with no emotional investment.
Lastly, I hope to see a genuinely fun game, with transformation and corruption leading to different paths and outcomes, rather than game overs. Personally, i prefer the game to continue after a corruption / transformation event, rather than just end.
Oh, this got out of control and happened... Now I'm infected.. OK, lets continue and take out the other 'pods' of survivors then, rather than just end the game with a 'You died of dysentery.' sort of 1980's thing.
