Almost all the mainline girls have love stories and love interests which the MC gets put in (except Elsa but she gets put in with Anna), Merida's whole bit was that "she don't need no man", it's one the big reasons she flopped as a Disney princess and Disney quietly shuffled her off the stage.
Her getting a man would go against the whole point of her story... Unless you mean to use her as a villain that tries to turn the other girls in to feminists, which could work.

Jasmine would be the most logical next girl as we already have Jafar set up.

Nope, everything works for me. Though you aren't missing anything, there is no voice acting, just background music. Have you checked your output audio settings on your device as well as in the games settings menu? You might have accidentally muted the game.

Hard to say what you are missing since getting scenes isn't linear. Elsa for example needs to have some scenes repeated in different outfits to get the scene.

Also, have you checked the calender in your office? Some scenes are unlocked as events only accesable from there.
you can check using the save I posted in this thread, it should have all the scenes unlocked.

I checked the calendar in the office and played all events. I'll try the outfits though, thought it was a Belle only thing.
