Cultist Play: Embrace Ending Added
Cultist must now regularly discharge the eggs filling their bellies. An adult octopus will assist with this process.
NPC Survivors: Added levels and skills.
Safe Zone Expansion: Construction slots expanded and a new construction type, "Workshop," added.
Skill Trees: Added Pyro and Ecologist skill trees.
Balance
Weapon Spawns: Weapon items previously dropped on the map are now randomized.
Item Condition: Some items will now drop in a broken state.
Ship Parts: Hidden ship parts on the map must now be repaired.
Repairs can be performed at a Research Bench with a scientist who possesses the Science skill.
Contamination Level:
Starting level reduced to 25%.
Daily increase rate reduced to 8%.
Spawn rates for monsters in vents, beds, and cabinets based on contamination levels have been recalibrated.
Spawn probability for beds and cabinets has significantly increased, while the probability for vents has significantly decreased.
Enemy Buffs:
Improved the combat capabilities of Worms, Crabs, and Manflies.
Crabs will now unleash attacks much faster when hit by a melee attack.
Experience System:
Experience requirements now vary based on the survivor's skills.
Experience types are categorized (e.g., Cooking / Combat / Science / Engineering).
Cultist Progression:
Cultists can no longer gain experience through traditional methods.
Instead, they gain experience by giving birth or eliminating survivors.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where survivors would remember and try to return to a workbench even when outside the safe zone.
Fixed a bug where the death animation would not play if killed while in a crouching position.
Fixed a bug where the ending cutscene would transition into space.
Fixed an issue where saving was impossible while constructing a bench.
Fixed an issue where vent traps would continuously accumulate without disappearing.
Transitioning to a Cultist now refunds all experience points and resets the level to 1.
Fixed a bug where Cultist functionality was lost upon saving and loading.
