second isn't what Patreon doing might be considered censorship?
You say that like it's illegal for them to do it, they can censor anything they want on their site just like any other website.

I dont get why they get to do this tbh.
If the game in itself is legal to make and play, they shouldnt be allowed to remove it at all, regardless of their "conditions".
We dont allow ppl to make a sign at their store saying, no fags in my store. No jews allowed. No <removed>s can enter premises. No bikers permitted. Smokers arent allowed inside (ei, smokers as the person not the act). White females are only allowed access with a male antendant. Make any examples you want.
This is the excact same thing, just hidden behind "moral clauses". Just like many of these were when they were in effect.
You put up a store, you dont get to decide who uses it or for what reasons. They dont ruin the website, they dont break the law. The only thing they do, is that they are into something the owners dont like or want to be associated with.

If the game violated the law, ban it. Then its your right. If not, then youre just a bad person dictating what others should think/do.
Stores are governed by laws and can't make up their own while websites can.

The only way to change that would be for governments to control the internet.

Until that happens, whoever owns that website makes it's own rules. They can stop you posting for any reason they choose they can ban you for any reason they choose and they can decide what is and isn't hosted on their sites.

In short, their website their rules and you have no say in the matter.

That's kind of a dystopian view that doesn't work in reality... The will of the people is displayed in the form of Local, State, Federal, as well as Treaty Laws... People forget that, just because the country you live in may have less restrictive laws themselves, the treaties they have with other countries (aka International Law) also come into play... A law in the U.K. can be enforced in the U.S. if the user is a citizen of the U.K. but violates said law while locally in the U.S. based on any treaty requirements regarding said law/s... There are no laws I know of, off the top of my head, that allow for the public to just waltz up to a corporation and tell them to do something or not do something, where they were then legally obligated to comply with said request...

Citizens can try to change laws and statutes with regards to what a Corporation is allowed or not allowed to do... But a corporation is typically allowed to self govern within the scope of said laws and statutes... Even if that means they create strict censorship rules with regards to public use of their systems... They are not violating freedom of speech laws, because you don't have to use their systems... You can opt in and use their systems, or you can opt out and go somewhere else... Now, if they issued a gag order for an employee not to relinquish information about something happening with in the company, or reveal what someone said in the corporation, without out some sort of legal precedence that would allow them get away with said gag order, then that would definitely be a violation of your freedom of speech, depending on location... I could go on, but then I would be definitely getting too far off the threads topic...

In the case of facebook, they are considering treating it as a communications provider, because people use facebook to communicate with one another thereby making facebook a utility, subject to regulation.

Honestly here I'll blame the devs, not Patreon. Incest is banned since October 2017, he had all the time needed to comply, or find a way to be compliant with both Patreon's rules and players desire to have incest.

So I was playing a game I like called Glamour and I reached as far as I could until I reached the end of line so to speak.
I went to their Patreon page to see if their was any updates to the game and bam Patreon took their page off and they
are investigating the site for possibly violating the "Community Standards" part of their site. Well first off all It's their rules
not the community...second isn't what Patreon doing might be considered censorship? Anyway another game or company
soon to be gone. What do you all think?
Patreon is why BB died (according to Dark Silver). They go as far as to say step family is incest and against the rules. It's not I can legally marry anyone on my step dad's side of the family. They have no issue with people putting actual porn on the site but fan fiction you better watch out. Patreon is poo. Sadly though it's their site they can do what they want.

Just because something is illegal on a little island off the coast of Europe, doesn't mean the whole world has to obey the queen's wishes. Those goofy laws don't apply to the rest of the world. By pushing these agendas through corporate policies, they are attempting to circumvent the rule of law... a one world government, a new world order. There are things on the internet that are illegal in your country, if YOU download them YOU are breaking the law in your country, people in other countries don't care about your laws. Corporate policies are extremely biased. Facebook, Patreon allow things that are illegal in many countries, and collects incriminating info on their users. Corporations need to obey the will of the people, not the other way around.

Patreon is obeying the will of the people (or so they think). The squeaky wheel gets the grease and the only ones complaining are the woke crowd who make it their mission to live in constant state of rage. Do as we say or we'll shut you down. That's why woke politics is part of so many companies. The normal people aren't causing a problem.

Patreon doesn't give a damn about people or what they say.

The bitch running patreon is out of touch with reality, she's not oiling squeaky wheels, she's off in lala land.
I'm pretty sure that Jack Conte is a male. But well, I haven't removed his pant to verify.

Define "long time ago" ? Because the 22 October 2019, Jack Conte was still the CEO of Patreon : .

as of 1/4/2020 Sam is the owner. Jack gets a salary.
Wait, there's a scoop here. not only became CEO between the 22 October and now, but he also did plastic surgery to look exactly like Jack Conte, while doing one to change sex, according to you.

I've hired and fired a lot of CEOs CTOs CFOs in my time, but something I've never done is sold out, and handed control to investors who put a cunt on my board of directors.
