Looks like you should either copy the game folder to a different location (program files and game folder have special permission requirements sometimes) or try to run it as administrator.

3.2.5 is another 'point release' - it does not bring any major new functionality to the game
it is mostly a fix/replace for many open issues around trading and a few bordello issues

After playing this game and knowing that the dev is reading here, a few suggestions from my Side:

Suggestions:

• If you can leave the actual stage to the left, make the leave-bar a bit smaller in height. So people (like me) dont accidentally click on it if they want to click the Sun/Moon Icon.
• Alert-fly-in's should freeze (stay) if you hover the mouse coursor over it. For me as a non-native speaker it is hard to read what it says if the fly-in and fly-out happend in under a second.
• The alert menue should be changed from decreasing to increasing in date. So I wouldnt have to scroll all the way down, if I want to see the latest message. Also, I see no point in having all the billions of old alerts in this list from the last 10 ingame years.
• Sometimes there is an X on the upper right, to close a window. Sometimes there is a OK button under the window. Maybe stick to one of them, because of consistence. (Intuiitive usabillity)
• While travel longer distances, I would like to have a "continue Travel" button on screen, not hidden in the planning menue. because... there was not a single time, where I want to do something else then "Continue Travel" after rest.
• There should be a Serve/Rest toggle-button on the girls icons when they garnisoned in the brothel. I started with two girls, trained them, open brothel. Then I brought more. But I could just train them early morning because they "Working in the Bordello".. What are they doing? They havent learned anything yet. And I can train them just once at morning if I dont want to shut down the entire Brothel. So giving me the opportunity to exclude persons from working would be nice. Maybe you can pair that with recover time from being beaten or something.

Wishes:

• There should be a way to handle your slave differently. I keep saying things like "you are worthless, you are a slut, you are the dirt" etc.. Maybe that is NOT necessary in each situation. Sometimes it feels not fitting to insult and humiliate someone for the slightest mischiev. I mean, I know: I am the bad guy, and these little tender roses are the victims. But even a kidnapper wouldnt be that agressive. Let me choose what I want to response in a "be agressive"/"Stay Calm" fasion.
• If you make more slaves, please have a heart for people that dont like Milk-Cow-Boobs. Two more slaves with realistic boobs like Parmida's would be NICE!
• The connection between "Rhetorics", "Inlicio" and the fact that girls do what you told them can not be seen by me. No matter how high those skills.. every day the same stupid "You do!" -> "no I dont want to" -> "you do or I force you" -> "I dont do" -> "Let it go/Punish her" talk... thats so tireing. Espeacially if the girl just sayed a day before that she will better next day and be more obedient.

For anyone unfortunate enough to own a mac, I made a quick guide to make the game "playable". I recommend that you save frequently as the game will crash. This is a short solution, but this process is good to learn if you ever want to play any "only windows" games that does not run directx (mac uses different processing program, if you really want to run directx windows game on mac, use bootcamp and a virtual machine).



GUIDE TO "PLAYING" PATRONUS ON MAC:

You will need Wineskin Winery and Wine Downloaded.

You will be creating a wine wrapper for the installer, then another wine wrapper to run the game.


1. Download the latest Patronus installer(Patronus_a321_r2.exe as of now), create a new folder renamed "Patronus" and place the .exe inside.

2. Open Wineskin Winery, click "Create New Black Wrapper" and name "Patronus Wrapper".

3. Once the wrapper is complete, click "View in Folder" and open the new .app wrapper TWICE.

4. Click "Install Software", "Copy a Folder Inside" and select folder "Patronus" that contains the Patronus installer.

5. Click "Set Screen Options" and turn off "Auto Detect GPU Info for Direct3D".

6. Click "Advance", "Tools" and under Utilities click "Winetricks".

7. Search "video". Under "settings" tab, turn on either "videomemorysize=1... card has 1024MB RAM" or "videomemorysize=2... card has 2048MB RAM" and click "Run". Wait for the comments to reply "Winetricks Commands Finished!!"

8. Search "dinput". Under "dlls" tab, turn on "dinput... on Rayman 2 etc." and click "Run". Wait for the comments to reply "Winetricks Commands Finished!!"

9. Close out and in "Wineskin Advance", click "Test Run" and download the game.

10. Once the game is installed you should be able to launch the game once with the finish downloading window.

11. Go to folder with "Patronus Wrapper" .app, right click "Show Contents", "drive_c", the game folder and located the newly downloded "Patronus.exe"

12. Copy the game folder with "Patronus.exe" and do steps 2 -> 10 with a new wrapper.

13. Drag the new wrapper to your game folder, run and Enjoy



Troubleshooting:

- If you are getting errors when you "Test Run", make sure that every time you do step 7, 8 and 9 that only one "Patronus" is running. You can check this with "Activity Monitor" in your "Applications".

- If the Patronus Installer "Test Run" runs but nothing shows up, you most likely didn't run "dinput" or "videomemorysize" properly and may need to start over.

- If the game opens up, shows black screen and then crashes, right click "Show Contents" and run the wine wrapper. Run the game through "Test Run"

- If "Wine Wrapper" crashes, restart your computer. If it continues, re-download it.

That's... odd. Ren'Py should allow you to build to Mac without any configuration.

mac version? ren'py usually cross over so any word?

Yea, that was frustrating. I'm using console; write "pause" to see all of the animation.

\renpy\common\console00 then find "config.console = False" and change False to True. In game press shift+O to open console, when animation happens type to console pause. This is all i remember. Come here if does not work.

Yep, looks like that does the job. Not as easy to use as middle click, but at least it is something

(Btw, one more question. I guess it is almost impossible to make girls do something without beating them? I tried to just train and try to talk them for near 10 days to try it, yet it didn't help at all)

It is possible, i never beat my girls and I can get get all of the animations. You need to train inlicio tho. Just go Alfidia (old woman) and train more. Although your girls will accept here and there; not always. Just train more inlicio. I'm sure you will do practice without a beating.

Well, looks like i didn't grind enough I don't prefer that as well, and i will probably avoid it all together. Thanks for the answers
