My laptop died last Friday and the new one was delivered today so I've been off my Peach Watch post for a week. My excitement at getting a new laptop is only exceeded by my disappointment at coming here to see nothing has changed LOL!! But I'm still chillin'

I have come to the conclusion that Vivien is/are really Buddhist monks masquerading as game developers. They are using this game to reach us where we are in order to teach patience.

Sighs... at this rate I may have released my game prior to this update drop. And I haven't started the dev as yet :-/ . But still we wait

This is a properly interesting and unique situation: We have a dev that produces quality, does it on their own time, and doesn't want to deal with stressful factors like making money from the game or dealing with deadlines.
Fair play.
But when there's a problem or delay, we can't get legitimately upset because this has always been a completely voluntary labour of love - we can only wait and hope for the best. No money's being donated, no expectation should exceed patience.
Again, fair play.
But then we get the 'Abandoned' tag... I really doubt it has any significance at all in this context. However, maybe it's just what needs to happen for Vivien to magically overcome all obstacles and difficulties, produce regular updates again for this game here on F95, have permanently fresh breath, live forever, time travel, insert USB sticks correctly on the first attempt, master both mind and material control, and have a rewarding and fulfilling life as the most powerful being in the universe.
I can only hope and wait.

I know one day I'm going to come in here and my entire notifications modal will be filled with updates to this thread. Before even clicking I'm going to know that either the update dropped while I was asleep or an alien base has been discovered in Antartica. Of course, in terms of cultural significance, there isn't much daylight between these two outcomes.

Could just be aholes like me spamming the thread at 1am ,and for all we know the dev could be an alien working from the black pyramid in antarctic.Aware of our unorthodox proclivities ,they are conducting experiments on human loyalty,belief and hope.
This is my new narrative until a playable release.Thank you DirtyB for the enlightenment.Having seen the light brother we need to help enlighten the others.
