Since I never download a game to not corrupt my PC i use gamecore. But here the saves don't work. You can save but no possibility to restart on the saved file. Stupid indeed

Very true. Some browsers don’t save the game properly because they treat external files as malicious, which means your save file might not exist in the browser cache. I’ve heard this from some players, and my advice was usually to try a different browser. But now, since so much time has passed since I uploaded those early versions, the game has become far more advanced and polished and I never updated the browser versions, so I don’t recommend playing the browser versions anymore.

I'm confused about something. The game presents the guard girl Kayla and the priest's daughter Melissa as love interests and lets you party with them sometimes, but doesn't let them join your team full time or stay with you it seems. I think I already accidentally sent Melissa away by helping her train as a Paladin expecting that would get her in my party but now she's nowhere to be found. I reached a point where Kayla asks if she should become the village guard chief or move to the city for better opportunities, I accidentally sent her away too but realized it in time to lad a previous save. Still, the choice doesn't seem to lead to her joining you as an adventurer any more than the priest's daughter's path does.

What am I missing here? The story casts them as love interests and yet places them on different life paths that make sure they will be separated. They can leave the village but not go with you, and if they stay in the village you won't be with them anyhow because you're not staying there. So it puts you and the supposed designated girlfriend characters in a situation they won't be together, and won't let you romantically progress with anyone else either including the female adventurers you actually end up spending all your time with. This makes no sense to me at all.

Finally, the game seems to only offer Mersia, Cleo, and Kayla's brother as potential party members. I've passed on him so far hoping to have one slot left at least for either one of the supposed girlfriend characters or at least another female, but no such options seem to exist.

At current I've beaten 2 floors of the dungeon, talked to every NPC, and those options are seemingly the only ones available. Is that all there are and are we really doomed to not get the designated girlfriend characters to actually be with us?

Sup, Meow. Thanks for your comment.

The game really leans into the idea that the girls have lives of their own apart from the MC. That doesn’t mean you can’t get romantically involved with them or even end up together in the future. PDA is very much about choices, about making promises or letting go. The focus of romance here is on the development of love, not necessarily on its final outcome.

As for party members, the fixed ones are Mersia, Alyas, Cleo, and Boris.

The romance options are Mersia, Cleo, Melissa, and Kayla. But each girl has her own role, not all of them are adventurers. And if you pay close attention, only adventurers are allowed to enter the dungeon. Since neither Kayla nor Melissa are adventurers, they can’t join the party. And because the main focus of the game is dungeon exploration, it wouldn’t make much sense to include them as fixed party members.

I hope that clears things up.
Have fun~~

Well, I took your advice to "have fun" and now I've got my character promised in love with three different women so far and will probably end up with the fourth soon enough. So, either he's gonna be really happy or very very dead!

UPDATE: Well, Mersia confessed but was blocked by Cleo, so looks like total harem ending isn't on the table. Now let's see how Melissa and Kayla react when they find out that not only is MC with the party mage but is also engaged to both of them!
