I thought the v3-41 Update would make having a relationship with Beth not mandatory for the Main Quests; that the MC didn't need to help her a few times and go on a Date with her.

It is possible to ask Erevi for the Summon Spell even if you don't trigger "A Date with Beth"? Like, for example, never triggering the Spyglass quest?

The quests not related to the Main Quests are only the ones about the Pregnancy and Kidnapping?
"Spyglass" and spying on her at all is not necessary to go on a date with her. Just get her Affection high enough (i.e. shovel a lot of dung). Tested it myself.

Yes, after the date Beth's content is about pregnancy & the kidnapping, pretty much the same as the other Side girls. The goal was to develop Beth to where she could have kids (just Vix left for that from the existing girls). She might get more content later, many girls have had more added after kid production is enabled. But even then it's usually about sex/pregnancy as much as developing a girl's story/background.

TBH I'd like to see the Beth date downgraded from Main to Side without removing it. There's already several Side quests which are required for certain points on the Main questline. Recovering Edgar's stuff is the big one, but there's also getting Rosy's bakery running again, escorting Caleah to the swamps, etc. Or all those other Side quests could be upgraded to Main since they must be done for the Main questline...

But hey, my boy Gabriel got some development too!

I do agree that the quests that are required to continue the Main story should either be updated ro Main Quests or given their own category (dunno what would call them).

Key Quests? Gateway Quests?

Off the top of my head those quests are:
Speak to the Villagers (the linchpin for the whole game)
Find The Blacksmith's Dog
Find The Poacher & The Peddler's Fate
Clear The Mill & Flour For The Baker
Journey To The Swamp & Save Your Chap
Clerical Robes & Ring A Bell
Enhanced Fertility Potion
Acorns/Security, Chickens, A Larger Home For Julia, and Growing Up
Transformation, Troublesome Zealots, and Mother And Child In Distress

Not 100% sure you have to do Prove Your Reliability before Beth agrees to a date with you, haven't tested that yet.

Trouble At The Well is debatable. It used to be almost required since EFPs need sacred water, and you'd have to stop making other potions once TATW would trigger to avoid it. Since Daiyu was added you can buy nearly any potion from her and reserve the water for EFPs (and Cure Poison, she doesn't sell those). But with Ancient Chests you can stockpile literally thousands of sacred water doses and not go to the well any more once TATW would trigger, without having to stop making potions yourself.

How can I get Alice to have sex with me again, I already came inside her?
PROTIP: Coming inside a girl who said not to is a massive Affection penalty. If a girl says don't do it, don't. They'll tell you when it's okay. (Sub-Protip: Read the text/dialogues, don't just fast-forward through them.)

I assume this was when you first got her a key, yes? Or at least before Johan showed up? You need to rebuild her Affection. Buy drinks at the Inn and don't grab her ass when she brings them, and give her flowers (once a day only). If it's past that point and her Affection is good, but she hasn't gone to the Temple yet, she just might not be horny that day.

Did you have the Hotfix for 3.41? Anyway, it's a one-time show. Unless, you want to redo the quest to see those two scenes.

Talk To The Villagers & The Checkpoint can both be missed, even though they are both early Main Quests & it dosent effectvthe game. Would like to have that fixed at some point personally.

Speak To The Villagers is a Side quest but must be done to get the pass to see the Witch (it triggers & completes before you can ask for the pass). And you can't enter the Goblin Forest, needed to get to the ToD, until it's done. Unless that was changed in the last couple of updates?

Agreed that Check Point should be fixed, if only to have it trigger the first time you speak with the guards whether or not you already have the pass.

As far as I was aware if you dont trigger "Talk To The Villagers" by trying to enter the Goblin Forest before speaking to the mayor then you just missed the quest (if it's been updated to instant Complete then that's cool). My experience is the same with "Checkpoint" if you ask about other jobs before talking to the guard in Northern Forest (unless that's been update in the same way). I wouldnt know cos I rarely restart these days & the last replay I triggered them first thing.

You're quite right, I don't have "Talk To The Villagers" or "Checkpoint" on my latest playthrough, I Talk to everyone anyway with being given a quest and talking to the mayor about other jobs before meeting the guards blocking passage to the witch skips "checkpoint".

I do have Speak To The Villagers. Then again I don't even try to go to the Goblin Forest until Day 2 and have already spoken to all the available villagers (quest or not) before that. (I also have Check Point because I chose to get it. :) )

I tend to forget Mia completely and make a beeline for Erevi and Shakala, I couldn't say the last time I even set foot in North Forest before having access to Thunderbolt. Waygates, Batbreeders and Goblins are at top of my list of things to develop ASAP, everything else tends to happen the in spaces that occur while these events cook. On some playthroughs the first time I enter North Wood is when I'm activating the waygates.

What is the condition to have sexual relations with my daughter that I had with the demon girl?
what Demon Girl? If you are talking about Erevi? use the Decensor Patch. Bud try to be more specific about who you mean and the circumstances.

I was asking if with the last update you could learn the Summon/Transformation spell without having to go on a Date with Beth.... The answer is No.

A Date with Beth is still a Side Quest related to the Main Quest, as mentioned by a few members.

Just verified that if you haven't tried to go to the Goblin Forest yet, Speak With The Villagers does insta-complete when you talk to Hans. Seems to me the same thing could be done for Check Point if you already have the pass.

ADWB is a Main quest rather than Side.
