it helps to equip Liandra with chainmail and a full armor set +Ring, also wear haevy armor yourself... maybe change to magic staffs or long sword (not 2H).
let Liandra use HP Potions on herslef regulary and concentrate on killing the mages before the boss.

Well, that the thing here she wont wear ring or helmet (ears problem maybe) and I don't have extra armor. Imho that is an oversight from the dev. How can I know that I need to keep extra plate armor for some elf who is getting two-shoted due to the fact that her lvl is just too low for that fight. As a player I should stock up on different potions imho, not armor sets and weapons. Also there is a change with lighting magic and as I understand it does a lot less damage now.
So I manage to beat that creature by save scamming on stunning the boss and then killing minions. Still it was pure luck, since the boss kept on using fire spell on Lisandra, so she was sacrificed in that fight. I just hope there wont be any more fights like this where your companion is so under leveled. Also the problem with under leveled companions is that they tend to miss more often while the enemies mostly don't so the fights becomes more stressful.

Also you'll have several such situation throughout the game... for example with Shakala and Brute dureing the Goblin Kings raid, your party of 4 Goblins dureing the rebelious tribe and finally shakala and her daughter dureing the common enemy quest.
The lightning skill was tweaked to attack 3 random targets instead of all enemies... also it's power was cut by roughly a tripple... consume a crystal egg before combat to increase your magic dmg.
You can enhance your weapons with poison potion, attack power with giant strength and defence with barkskin... useing an agi potion to act first can also determine victory. Also with the latest Update you got a spell that deals constant dmg over time (wither), and with your new companion from theses quests you'll get another actor that can cast heal, major heal or simply use potions.
I only used Liandra in the first turn to deal additional dmg to the mage than made her go through my stock of bandages and heal potions to stay alive.
All of the latest changes made these parts of the game much easier... but you'll need to know which fights to pick at what time. The best abilities come from advanceing the main quest so far

Thanks for the tips. It just was a bit frustrating that she was dying in two rounds.

The mac verson doesn't seem to work. I tried running chmodx and the game instantly crashes. Any inputs on how to run the game. I used unarchiver to unzip the rar. Any way around this?

Sounds like a bug or maybe you are still in the middle of a quest with her and have to solve that first to trigger it. Afaik it shouldn't even be 10 days until she gives birth.

I can only suggest that you do other quests who are still open or contact the dev and ask him what could be wrong. :/

As of now there had not been any mentioning of her.. well she might also be the corrupt noble (converted) that already caused us some truble by sending the ex Mayor's son and his gang of bandit thugs after us

So does anyone have any tips for Great grumpkin? That thing kills Liandra in 2 rounds with a potion of defense on her and lighting magic now do a laughable amount of damage to them now. I am lvl 15 she is lvl 8, does this fight is intended to be on lvl 8 if so I wonder how?

P.S. So stun woks on him but the combat becomes a saves cam galore - did the stun worked, did you hit with heavy strike next turn, if not - gg, start over.

that fight is intended for lvl 11, you should deal with the aids first,spam lightning strike, and keep Liandra on healing duty. if you have a poison potion, give that to Liandra and make her poison the boss.
alternatively, load an earlier save, and once Liandra is missing, bring the succubus with you (waystone quest) this way your party will have MC, Liandra and a glass cannon succubus. Keeping Liandra alive is not a problem, she'll regain consiousness once the fight is over

there are two stages of Victoria's pregnancy:
a) pre-election, she stays pregnant till progress the events to her child's birth.
b) post election, if she doesn't give birth, and she should, walk into the room with the bed, it should start the conversation

And that is what I am talking about, if the fight is for minimum lvl 11, why Liandra is only lvl 8? I managed to kill that thing and she was only useful at soaking up damage. But now after some time I kinda understand why she is like this story wise(don't know if it is intended), too much booze and sex.

yeah she never was a skilled fighter... she says so dureing the introduction... she was send there since it was far away from any elven civilisation, yet being considered a peaceful post... also she was never considered to be a lasting party member... actually none of your companions are... aside from the placeholder familiar you can receive just now
