Peasant's Quest + Mods - HD Video Mods
The new videos have 2 times the Width and Height, 2 times the Frames, 16 times the Details, are denoised/remastered and color corrected. The HD-Videos uses the AV1-Codec. I tested the mod only on Windows. It should work with Mac and Linux. I think Android-Ports and JoiPlay could work on newer devices with AV1-Support.
Before you start:
Please make a backup first (just in case).
The mod will replace video-files in the folder "Gamefolder > www > movies".
Installation is very simple:
Download the mod, extract it into the PQ game-folder and replace the old video-files.
Thats it.

Hey guys, got a question. I started again, after like, 2 years, and got to level 6 with nearly one full set of equipment. Did some questing - and somehow im not able to get the goblin girl (Shakala) quest. There are no dead goblins, and talking with gabriel over and over didnt work.
Red somewhere that its a requirement to have the "talk to everyone" quest must be done, but I spoke with everyone, and upon starting a new save for testing, I just saw that the quest is instantly done after talking to the mayor (maybe even before).
Had the patches (Bugfix) installed, and just installed everything else again, deleted the save, and started anew. Still no quest.
Is there something I simply missed?

"Speak With The Villagers" (i.e. the Mayor) is needed to even enter the Goblin Forest, that's the only connection to Shakala's content. If you try to go there without talking to him first you get stopped, and if you talk to him first you're set.
Are you not finding any dead goblins at all, even on your first time to the Goblin Forest? Or did you have them earlier and just not getting them now? If there never were any goblin corpses something's definitely wrong. Same if you left her behind after winning and not getting corpses now. (Please tell me you did not take her ears after beating her the first time...)
FYI after beating her in a fight you have to leave the Goblin Forest and return before goblin corpses (or boar carcasses) will start appearing again. You can go back the same day, but leaving & returning is required.
EDIT: Did you DL 3.55 and add the bugfix & etc. to that? If you're adding current-build stuff to an older build, things might be mucked up. Also, did you edit anything because that can bork stuff you wouldn't normally consider connected, even as simple as just giving yourself stuff and not changing the MC's attributes.

I just did a fresh start, on a game where I added the game files, the fix, and the 2 extras. Nothing else. There was no quest for the goblin girl (the walkthrough says it should be after talking to gabriel), nothing. Also saw no dead goblins laying around.
On the new playthrough I just saw something called "Goblin Bounty" - do you maybe have to raise that first? Or is now some level required?
(Visible when in the Save/Load Screen)
EDIT: I also have the Cheat/Gallery Mod installed. Forgot that, but if that would make problems I think it would be mentioned there, right?

The Gallery Mod is outdated & does indeed cause problems/breaks in the game.
The goblin bounty refers to the bounty on goblin ears, it kicks in once you talk to the Mayor and stays the same throughout the game. That whole screen could use a refurbish (doesn't NEED it, but could use it). Hopefully the dev gets around to it eventually.
As DomWolf said Gallery is outdated. So is the walkthrough though it's still good for most things. Some dude on the discord is supposed to be doing a new one but it's been like forever... Never used Gallery so no idea how you'd remove it now. I'd just DL the full 3.55 (not the Lite version to add to earlier builds, the whole thing), install the bugfix & two mods, and start over with that since it sounds like you're still early in the game.
TIP: be sure to check the mini-walkthroughs of recent updates, some of them had stuff that can be done early in the game, like Beth's new content in 3.41.
Build 3.61 is supposed to be released in a couple of weeks, it's up to you if you want to wait for that.
If you want to one-shot (nearly) everything, the in-game Cheatmode was changed to Freddie's Corpse. The red chests are gone, now you find a body with a key near the spider caves. The key unlocks the small building near the guards tower, inside on a shelf is an item you equip in the necklace slot making the MC seriously OP. No more need to edit the his attributes.
There's also some chests which can be looted every day for cash & potions; some chests are empty until certain quests are completed.

So u should find a dead goblin in the forest check up the ledge area as well (near the dead tree) & harvest the dead Goblin. First fight with Shakala triggers her quest. Are you looking east or south of Weirdwood? The Goblin Forest is east of town, that's where you find goblin bodies & Shakala. South of town is the Forgotten Valley, a long narrow valley you later go through to reach the Temple (and even later the Swamps, and the Family Farm, and...).

I was always going south. The guide said " just south of the entrance from Weirdwood" and I was always only farming gobbos in the forgotten valley. Didnt even see the yellow spark to the east. I feel stupid, but at the same time, very thankful for your guys help. Cheers^^

It's a good idea to poke around all the maps when you first visit them, including areas away from where things seem to be happening. You never know what you might stumble across.
I am trying to change the language of the game but I couldn't change it. How can I change the language automatically? When I try, I get an error like this
