Bug in the carpentry

Someone is experiencing this bug.
I went into Marcus's carpentry shop and got stuck in this closet. There's no way out.
It looks like I'm going to lose a bunch of quests I've done.
I only have three saves, and if I use them, I'm screwed, I'll lose everything I've ever done... before these final updates, this never happened. Instead of improving the game, bugs just appear where they never existed, what a shame.

What version are you on? Due in 3.75 a new save the layout of the Shop is different

I can't get anyone's screenshots to load. But, I think I remember Marcus' shop being redone by Tinkerer a while back and subsequent reports of getting stuck there.

TanyaC Did you DL a full version, or just the Lite version? Lite only has new content added in the most recent full version, it doesn't have anything from before that. If you DLed Lite and your last full version was from a while back, the game is trying to play with outdated/incompatible maps & info.

nice idea to check the Lite version. if that is the old layout than maybe is the case.

If they have an older full version (more than one update previous) and just DL a current Lite version, the game will start & run using the older maps but pull location data based on newer maps. Hitboxes, people/stuff to interact with, etc.

IIRC that's why some players entering Marcus' shop got stuck, the old map had something already in the spot where the MC appears at inside the shop. And when they got a version with newer maps they didn't get stuck any more.

EDIT: Now that I can actually see the screenshots, it is definitely an older version of the shop. TanyaC, you need to DL the latest full version of the game. Remember to DL & install the Spicy & Gnomes mods as well if you want them. If you're porting saves over remember to also port the global save file.

Start back here in the middle of page 2458, you wouldn't know it, but we just had a conversation about that. Unfortunately no, imo the gaming industry as a whole as too few truly open world games, adult lewd games are no different.

I would play Struggle With Sin if

1) The characters didn't all look like PS2 era Sims. The models just don't do it for me.

2) There was less women. I'm probably gonna piss off some folk but theirs like over 40+ something LIs in that game & it just feels overwhelming. I like that each girl in PQ is given some development room (if that makes sense?)

You mentioned ToP, Siren has quite a few titles he has finished and is working on. Make sure to check his catalogue.

Renryuu Ascension and Roundscape Adorevia are other RPGM games that truly have open worlds.

What are you thinking of by "similar?" An actual game rather than a VN/KN? Strong story? Something else?

-The Big Beyond is an actual game, and "feels" similar to PQ to me; the creator is recently back and pretty active after about a year away due to real-life issues. Recently updated.
-A Struggle With Sin was discussed here in the last day or so.
-My Pig Princess is a VN with fantastic art and writing, and a wholesome vibe. Recently updated.
-What A Legend is a VN with a substantial amount of content and excellent art & writing. It embraces humor, verging on comedic at times. Roughly annual updates but worth the wait IMO.
-Tribulations Of A Mage is a VN that doesn't feel like a VN to me. Maybe because its dialogue sounds like real conversations for the most part; also, some characters have conversations when the protagonist isn't around. Recently updated.

I managed to fix the download from the website, which came with this Marcus store as it was before DV changed some things in the game.

Another short progress report. I've nearly completed the scripting for the Baroness and her daughter, the main focus of this update. But I still haven't gotten done much for our nun and I also need to add some minor events and dialogue for other supporting characters. I'm taking next week off from work (yes, I'm still shackled to a "normal" day-job as well), so that should speed up progress as well. Now, if only this bloody heatwave could subside a little, so I could get some renders done without my PC crashing most of the time....

Anyway, my goal is to get my draft done by the end of the month and release some time early next month.

But I still haven't gotten done much for our nun and I also need to add some minor events and dialogue for other supporting characters. I'm taking next week off from work (yes, I'm still shackled to a "normal" day-job as well), so that should speed up progress as well. Now, if only this bloody heatwave could subside a little, so I could get some renders done without my PC crashing most of the time....

Anyway, my goal is to get my draft done by the end of the month and release some time early next month.

nearly wanted to spoil the picture so people need to mentaly prepare themself to see it.

I never use Mods in games, only the normal version of the game.

Tinkerer removed some of the "standard" build contents a while back, due to changes in Patreon's content rules. Specifically incest & bestiality. They used to be in the "standard" build requiring some simple patches to enable them, but that meant you could directly open them from the game files. Now that content isn't there at all in the "standard" build files. Spicy & Gnomes adds that content back in, they are safe to use. (Pretty much all other mods are unsafe unless you know what you're doing.)

-Without Spicy there is no sexual content for ED, SD never even appears, and Julia is no longer a blood relation. Several quests never happen, same for some non-quest scenes.
-Without Gnomes there is no beast content, all the existing scenes are revised to exclude it.
-Both also include some non-quest content/scenes that were never in the pre-change "standard" builds.
