I don't think he's forgotten the death of Futaba's mother, the dev seems to be a big fan of Atlus games and particularly Persona.

I'm looking really forward to this game's development! I only saw a the Alpha v0.1 but from what its shown to me, its amazing! I've never thought the Ren'Py engine was capable of creating such a close copy to actual persona 5 dialogue and active shots with most (if not all) scenes, and that really shows the talent by the developers.

Ren'py should be capable of anything Python is, it's just that Ren'py comes with tools for building Visual Novels and not really RPGs.

That just means Golden Goose needs to get their teeth-kicking boots on though, they'll be walking uphill both ways.
