and just use the Ren'Py program to directly open the .exe (windows) version of the game you want to play. This can rarely cause issues with games depending on what version of Ren'Py they were built in, but that too is easily solved by downloading a legacy version of Ren'Py as needed. And really, that issue is rare enough that it shouldn't matter since it requires both the mismatch and the mac version to not work, so I digress.This should be a painless "fix" for just about any Ren'Py game that doesn't open on Mac for whatever reason. Windows version of the game, Mac version of Ren'Py, put the entire game's folder into the Ren'Py folder, open Ren'Py, select game, click "Launch Project," boom.
